  1. yea i understand 2 sizes when going from a air box to no air box but what about a air box with lid to a air box with no lid....can't be that big of a difference could it????? oh and i dont know if it was rejetted when the vents were put in the lid....i got the bike this way already done
  2. yea you need a impeller cover gasket .....but only if your changing the impeller...if not, no need to take the impeller cover off.
  3. you think its that many sizes just for removing the lid ....huh.....wow....maybe its a litttle less for me cause i have like 4 or 6 vents in my lid but i guess i wont know untill i do a plug chop but i dot really have accesss to a open area to ride wide open in all the gears like needed so its going to be a while .....hope i dont burn up my motor

  6. theres also a gasket under the impeller cover.....you got to take this off to take the impeller out of the case cover
  7. not only will you need a gasket for the water impeller cover but also for the trans case cover this should help www.bluetraxx.com/aluminum_impeller_new.htm - 6k

  11. im going with amsoil dominator and about 35 - 40:1 some where in there....can anyone tell me how many oz. per gal i need for that????
  12. i went to my local bike shop to get trans case oil and the guy gave me Amsoil 80w-90 gear lube, said it works great and most people use it now. is this the right oil or does this guy not no what he is talking about????????
  13. also whats the jet size difference with the lid on with no snorkel and off .....anybody with some knowledge on the subject please.....would be greatly appreciated.....thanks

  15. OH YEA FORGOT THAT PART......SLIGHTLY ABOVE SEA LEVEL 220-700 FT DEPENDING ON WHERE I RIDE THAT DAY AND AROUND 75-85 DEGREES IN SUMMER AND AROUND 30-40 IN WINTER.....WONT RIDE BELOW THAT....I HATE THE COLD

  19. ok ....so how much can a set of 26mm stock carbs be bored out to?? and is it as good as buying new ones of the same size???

  22. also the person i bought the bike said it has a idle kit and from what ive been reading thats for a twist throtle but i don't have this i have a thumb throtlle and was wondering if this is a problem
  23. nope ....thanks thats what i figured but just wanted to make sure.....so far i got t5 pipes, adjustable timing plate +4, hi flo impleller, 13 and 40 sprockets, k&n air filter with outerwears and no air box, tors eliminated, boost bottle, and larger tires all around....think thats it....intenally i don't know
  24. well the carbs say mukini.....thats the brand and the only numbers i found are 2gu and a 01 under that....also lookin at the left carb(left if sitting on the bike) i see a choke pull then down and a little to the right(about middle of carb) a screw and to the right of that a very small slightly angled screw.....does this make sense??????
