yea my left (while sittingon int) head pipe sticks out a tad farther than the right one, i have taken them of and put them on so many times with the same results, its hardley noticeable unless you stand it up on the grabar and look at it it hangs out maybe 1/2 inch farther

no one in their right mind would spend time and money REPAIRING the tors...

i say go with the works, i have them and they ride 10 times better than any 450 shocks i have ridden, if you can get them for only $100 more than the 450 shocks, DO IT, 450 shocks are longer, will make your front end sit up higher, unless you use the 450 arms then it will sit very low, get the works that are built for the banshee, they are 100 times better than stock and 10 times better than 450 shocks, ive read about too many people buying those 450 shocks and puttin them on their banshees and regretting it, just spend the extra bit of cash and get the works

sounds like the tors strikes again! just unhooking the elctrical connections is not enough, you need to totally eliminate the housing on top of the carbs, which are full of throttle cables and over engineered bullshit, theres too much to go wrong, get a tors eliminator kit and go from there

make sure they are both jetted the same, main jet, pilot jet, needle clip position, and make sure they are in sync, thats very important , and of course clean em all out while your at it

get a arms and shocks built for the banshee... leave the 450 front end where it belongs,... on the 450

i second that, samne with my kit i bought years back, the o ring was not thick enough and really wasnt even touching the back of the box, so i sealed it up with RTV, never had any dirt or dust in the intake again ops didnt see you solved the problem, cracked intake huh, did you have a boost bottle on there by any chance?

yea its impossible to tell how hard/soft the compound is from the pictures thats why i was hoping someone has/is running them. they say NEW next to them and a bunch of others in rmatv though, so maybe they are brand new? the i razrs are great tires they worked awesome on my friends 450, but the knobs are not beefy at all, and once they ware a tiny bit, they are shot, these duros look pretty meaty

if the 280's worked good before, try bumpin up to 300 for the cold (sorry did i break the rules by gving the number of the main jet?) if yuou dont want peoples opinions, dont ask for them...? obvisouly you know you have to fatten up for the cold, and dont want anyones opinion on which size to run, so go try some untill you are happty
