  3. My 450R has them, its so nice all plastic off bike in about 2 minutes or less. It would be a great idea on a shee
  4. @windycityjuan break out the manual photocopy the section on rebuilding top end, be prepared to fax to Junior here
  5. somethings fucky
  6. Im starting to smell a troll. I cant believe i offered up all this hard earned advise and its most likely a troll
  7. well the more i think of it shock velocity wouldnt explain the jetting problems. No its got to be stator safety circuit like we thought. Not going to really know much till you do the start stop cycles and count the pulses on monday.. Lumen measurements should then further narrow it down
  8. Its going to be a real pisser if you go through all the work diagnosing this shit and it ends up being something rediculously simple like the shock velocity monitoring circuit is just out of spec
  9. Fair enough i didnt know he was young and on a budget, i was kind of late to the party and didnt read the first few pages of this thread
  10. Dont forget there are two different circuits in the stator, you have the start up winding and then the main power supply. Just cause it starts easy doesnt tell you a whole lot
  11. shit i have a feeling this is going to get complicated
  12. Ok, well that settles that then. And i dont want to step on windys toes, but you really dont want a lumen meter. I mean you can go that route but lumens will only tell you so much when diagnosing a lighting issue. You really need to check lux. Its a more specific test.
  13. you know what before you go through all that hassle try running out and switching the bulbs from side to side and see which one is dull and which one is bright after that.
  14. Keep in mind this method requires 3 separate start stop cycles.
  15. This is mainly the reason that we go to the trouble of doing the DC conversion and running a battery. When you float the ground it isolates the ignition side of the stator and prevents the stator from cooking down in the event that the crank begins to come apart. Being able to run brighter lights is just an added bonus. Of course you are eliminating all diagnostic safety features built into the stock setup. You have to decide what is more important to you
  16. Shits probably already toast. Mixing up grounds is a bad idea because you never want to reverse the flow of electrons in a circuit as sensitive as a banshee wiring system. Personally i would run a separate ground for every device on the bike.
  17. not really that combo will get you close may need to move needle around a bit. just check your plugs. my 4 mil with PJs and T5s ran 160s at sea level and was a bit fat
  18. CEL needles in the middle, somewhere around a 158 main and a 48 pilot should get you close enought to fine tune
  19. Stage 4 elka set up for +10 swinger and 200 lb rider. Has 1 ride on it. still have all paperwork and tools that came with it. I bought it from a member on here and no longer have a need for it. 750 shipped
  20. Hmmm i called some sponsors and told them Tyrel clark recomended them and they charged me extra WTF?
  21. industry is full of fucking flakes
