  1. shit mine were 14 inches too...
  2. i would say as long as it is not binding then you should be fine. it doesnt look that bad to me, i have seen that happen before.
  3. get a photobucket account and download your pics there then click the image tag and paste it over here. if the shaft was bent you should be able to tell pretty easily. i bent some stockers and they were very obvious even though it was a small bend.
  4. post a pic of the problem that will help us help you...is it the shaft that it is rubbing on??? if so i would say it would have to be bent.
  5. i would just so you dont get any rust there.
  6. just cut them off i did and the problem was solved
  7. if they are for stock a arms then powdercoating can mess the bushing inside the ball joint up. some people have done it without problems though. PM kaotik1 he does powdercoating and would probably know best.
  8. well i will personally be running PT's on my 4 mill and i am more than confident they will do the job. i would say get the cub and try out the paul turners. and if you dont like them then you can always get a different set of pipes.
  9. i agree with wallace it looks good the way it is but the white frame idea would look good as well i say if your wanting to change things up then go for it.
  10. i know that the mids say midrange on the badge. at least on the sets that i have seen. if they dont then im not too sure how to tell. mike from cascade swears by paul turner pipes and he builds some pretty bad ass bikes although most of them are duners. are you going to be drag racing mostly? if so id say that you should get the cpi or shearer inframes but if you are wanting a fast ass duner i think you would be fine with the paul turners. that is my .02 anyways.
  11. oh yeah and you should trade me your roll design steering stem for my slightly bent stocker... J/K
  12. you have the basic bolt ons i would turn my attention to the suspension first. get some +2+1 a arms shocks 2+2 rear axle, and rebuild the rear shock. there is no need for 35mm carbs without some heavy porting and unless you need it dont just go and bore it .40 over. what kind of crank are you wanting??? stroker long rod what? edit: i see you only pplan to bore it when it blows up my bad:)
  13. ive seen some fast bikes running PT's. are they mids or highs?
  14. this is the best pic i have of what i did. it is just a bar welded in that will help prevent the hoop from bending. hope that helps.
  15. if you use a torch dont get it too hot because the frame is carbon steel and heat will weaken the metal.
  16. i was telling sheerider1026 he needs to gusset his frame. basically you have to take the radiator steering stem, front plastics gas tank etc... off and put a jack throught the steering hoop so the jack is pressing up on the hoop. keep jacking it up until it is straight. pretty easy to do just take your time.
  17. pb blaster is the shit!! i think motion pro makes a tool that gets the job done without fucking anything up.
  18. i used a floor jack put in through the front and jacked it up till it was normal again. you should definetly gusset it afterwards though other wise you will do the same thing, even from normal riding.
  19. you would make more money parting it out bro. If you decide to part it out give me a price on those front shocks. thanks.
  20. i like the trail tech light too they are bright and look good. I wired mine up to the high beams that way i cant bump them out of low beam when im riding and because thats what trail tech said to do in their instructions. great lights but go look these lights http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=85525 those are bad ass lights too im thinking about getting some for my duner... they would light up the night!!!
  21. what kind of paint are you using on those cases???
  22. pm Snopczynski he used to have one....
  23. that was hard to read... :shoothead:
  24. i know lone star makes them stock height. im not too sure who else does though.
