not sure how long, but these bikes seem to warm up pretty quick.

It should take most of the bottle of engine ice leaving a little in the bottom. Do you see the coolant moving through the radiator?

you have to turn the knobs on top of the carbs to raise the idle. make sure you turn them the same amount.

sounds like the carbs are completely out of sync. get those babies dialed in and you should be good to go! Have fun :biggrin: and also, welcome to the HQ

You dont have to run race fuel with 21's.Thats what I run and with Premium,at the dunes.No trouble. Put that shit on.

Throttle stuck W/O and the bike took off and flipped end over end and back on its wheels and shut off.(Good thing) Anyways crushed the front bumper and busted the rack off the back.It bent the 2 pieces that hold the rack 45 degrees up. Is there a good way to fix this? Anyone done that before? The piece that holds the rear fender down also is bent up a tad. Thanks guys!

Go ahead and pull the clutch cover off and see what is going on.Does it do it when its running? Could be the kicker return spring mechanism rubbing on something.

How long did you run it for? Did it stop spitting water? What happens when you let her warm up and rev that pig up?

with the work done on your bike,and I am supposing you are a good rider.You will never loose to that DS.Those bikes are nice though,and heavy as hell.

1st you need to find out where its leaking from.Is it coming from the gasket or the drain bolt? To remove the cover just drain the fluid and pull the kicker, remove the bolts and the cover comes right off.You may have to remove the footpeg and healguard.Its pretty self explanetory. Good luck!

Sounds like some afro engineering right there.But hey,could work i suppose.

Are you getting the filter wet?I pressure wash mine also and fires right up.Water may be getting an electrical connector wet also. They make spray,I think silicone spray,that makes connections water resistant.Try that. And don't get your filter wet.

Did you clean your airfilters?

.022 sounds good. Not to sure bigger gap what would happen. Probably no spark.
