  1. yep, def.sounds like a bad batch. I'm sure they got it straightened out.I hope before the new one I got.
  2. LOL,def.sounded like you were trying to figure out how to install pods.
  3. I can't say that i've ever had problems with RATV,they just charge out the ass for shit and then tell you its stolen if you get it cheaper. pisses me off!
  4. surprised? did yours break just like mine?
  5. I had my jugs ported by HJR and the bike flat rips.HJR has a great reputation and highly recommended. You live far East huh,There are some shops in Mesa But I've never experienced any of them.If your willing to do work on your bike yourself send the parts to HJR for quick return.Or you can send him the whole motor, either way Kevin will get you going.
  6. whats the part look like?hopefully ronnies helps you out!
  7. I'mm thinking its possible that you could have fried a cdi.Not sure though. Also someone is going to come on here and jump your ass if you don't lose the CAPS.Good luck with the ohmeter.
  8. everytime I go to a local guy around Phoenix they fucking rip you off.At least thats how I feel. Now I've never dealt with D&M or Hall but thats how I feel.I sent my parts to HJR and put the mods on myself, also bought some stuff from FAST and saved a ton of $$.Don't go to RATV,they wanted 120.00 for pods on stock carbs.I could imagine what they get for port work and stuff.Where you at in Phoenix anyway?
  9. Do you have any pics?Definately call them and if its there problem they will send a new one right out.Thats bullshit if yours failed like mine though.I put a new one in and hopefully never happens again.
  10. no box, they clamp right on the carbs.make sure you remove the part on the frame that used to hold the box.It will rub on the pods. When you get them on you should see what I'm talking about.

  12. now you rebuilding the motor?
  13. Jeff at FAST has them.
  14. man,I'm lossed.
  15. Oh I thought all this started when you heard metal on metal rubbing sounds.
  16. that could be because the clutch side is off and the shift lever may be out of whack.
  17. 0kay,awesome.thanks for stepping up bro!
  18. doesn't sound like the forks then.It wont shift through the gears when sitting still. It needs some movement in the tranny.Prolly start with the jugs coming off and check for play in the rods.that is if everything in the clutch and flywheel ckeckout. I dont want you to get over your head with this, so a Clymers manual is very, very highly recommended.
  19. I would buy some if the price was right. I would expect them to be tough as nails.haha
  20. any volunteers for the next week and standings?
  21. was it shifting okay before the teardown?
  22. sounds like it.did you pull the flywheel cover yet?
