Well I am currently running 21x12x8 10 Paddles , and although they work pretty well, I think my next set is going to be 22x11x8 9 Paddles ... You are right it thinking that the 12" wide on a 8" wide wheel crowns the top of the tire, and I don't really like that effect, I think the paddles might be more "efficient" if left at a more horizontal profile ... Maybe that helps ... ~DaVe
