I did try taking off in 2nd once, but I bogged ( I didn't dare give it a full throttle dump, as I'm new to the quad thing).... and you are right I had like 6-7 psi in the paddles and I talked to the previous owner again and he said he used to run around 4 psi... I guess next ride we will see if I can get it out of the hole better ~DaVe

  5. Well it has been re-geared by the previous owner... if has 14 /46 with 21 x 12 x 8 10 paddle EX. haulers Any gearing suggestions from anyone or is it prety close to "normal" TIA ~DaVe
  6. It was passed onto me here so I will pass it on: Check on Ebay for rebuilt ASV levers.. find the one on their site and then find it on Ebay: http://www.asvinventions.com/ You WILL end up with a KICK ASS lever / perch assmebly for about 1/4 - 1/3 of retail !!!! ~DaVe

  10. It seemed to do OK !!!, I was hopping to beat the shit out of the 450R but in the finally race we were DEAD EVEN from the start all the way to the top of the hill, I even waved... He has pipes, and electronics ("cherry bomb") on the 450R I was having one hell of a time coming out of the hole though, even with the +6 and 10 paddles it seemed to spin more than I thought it would ??? Over all I'm VERY pleased with the new machine though, even caught a LITTLE air with it

  12. probably 4-6 " in the deepest parts on the North sides of the hills, BUT NONE on the South sides !!! I'm from Logan, UT 2h40m away, and I was on the 'Shee in my sig !! And my friend (he lives in Rigby) was on his 'Zuki 450R :biggrin:

  16. I love the 1971 TS125R ! It was my mom's originally, and I pretty much ride every day to work Mrach-October So far it has 1900 original miles !!!! Sorry about the off topic ... I'm gald you found the chain slider ~DaVe

  20. Well I went to Checkers (local) here and got some BR8ES's for $1.99 each.... I think I will change out the BR9ES's and put them on the bike as riding spares (since I KNOW this set runs).. then order up some more BR8ES's next RMATV order (1.79 each) for the toolbox/garage extra's THANKS guys :thumbsup: ~DaVe
  21. The Bansee I just bought had boysen reeds and it RUNS GREAT !!! But the only thing I have to compare it too is a BOX STOCK '98
  22. the 'Shee I just purchased has newly installed BR9ES's.. and it seems to run good, start well, etc. etc. etc. -BUT- is there any reason NOT to go back to the B8ES or BR8ES plug ??? the engine is only lightly modded: milled head, lightened flywheel, +4 timing Also does altitude effect plug choice ??? I'm in UT at 4700+ feet with the density altitude over 6500-8000 on most days... I need to get some extra and want to know what to get ! TIA ~DaVe
