Ive got some Toomey T6 chromed in decent shape for $200 plus shipping.

Thats weird about having 2 in the crank. I am pretty positive I only had 1 and thats all I see on the OEM parts deal and clymer.

I was talking to a friend about banshees and that im getting a cub and his builder told him that stock stroke cubs are hard on piston skirts? He was not sure why but "they like to eat up piston skirts" is what I was told. I am going to call Jeff about this but I had never heard anything like this before. So I thought I would ask here also. I dont see why a cub is any harder on pistons than a stock cylinder but maybe there is something I dont know. I am getting a stock stroke 68mm cub (392). If there is something I should be aware of please let me know. Thanks Dave

Like I said....im not bitchin about it. just seems that most people that deal with banshees are busy as hell all the time. It would be a good business to be in if you knew what you were doing. I didnt realize there was such a banshee craze and all shops were this busy all of the time. Jeff I wasnt trying to put you down or mention your name so I hope you didnt take it like that. This is not a rant or complaint. I wish I knew more about banshees and ATVs because I would get in on this repair and building business.....I have yet to call anyone about work or wanting to buy something and they were able to talk to you then, or call back in a reasonable amount of time. Everyone is either too busy to talk or too busy to even do the work. i guess this is a good thing and the business must be doing something right if everyone else wants to have work done also. Im not naming any one business since I have called a few places and got the same answer. I guess the reason for this post is I am impatient and hate waiting even though it is worth the wait. Sucks to see that you got laid off. I am in construction doing underground for housing and its getting really slow. I have been hearing we may be off for 2 months this winter. I just bought a new house from KB homes and my loan is through Countrywide. I tried to keep you employed... I have always been worried about buying a house and then losing my job and now that I finally did it they start talking about lay offs....Shitty how a person can try so hard and work their way up for years and then lose everything in a day....I hope you get working somewhere soon man..Hate to see people struggle that want to work. I dont think of it as a mod, but I dont mind when people post it in their sigs because I like to see what jetting people are running with similar mods as I have at different elevations. Dave

Find out when or if the transmission has been rebuilt. Also find out if the front and rear end has been geared lower to compinsate for the big tires. Buying that thing with the big tires and not having the gears to get you where you need to be, you wont be far ahead of your suburban when towing. 7.3 is a good engine but its not a rocket by any means. Ive had two and had good luck with both. Dave

Spend 20-30 bucks on some bearing buddies and a grease gun... Dont want to lose a wheel bearing on a trip like that. Keep them greased up so they dont get hot.
