  7. I have a 5x14 open trailer already....the question was how can I fit them in the back of my truck...I am goign to be pulling a bumper pull camp trailer. Thanks Dave
  8. I have a 2005 chevy 3/4 ton pickup with a short bed. I am curious if and how I could fit my banshee and girlfriends warrior in the back of it. I would need to close the tailgate or remove it. If they will fit, what is the best way to load them? I have seen people stand them up but I dont understand how they get the one in the rear lifted up in such a short space. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks Dave
  9. Buy a clymers manual and search clutch on this site. Between the two I managed to do a clutch job this weekend for the first time on my banshee. You will need a 32mm socket, a clutch holding tool helps, clutch gasket, fluid, and take your time. Dave
  10. Yes, that is the tool. I am also installing a new shift star so I need to pull the hub off. I need to get a 32mm socket and I can finish taking this thing apart. Thanks Dave
  11. I bought a motion pro clutch tool today. I am replacing the stock clutch with a FAST clutch. I dont quite understand how this thing is supposed to work. I am assuming the little ears stick into something. It looks like it could mesh with the ears on the clutch basket but I didnt want to bend the clutch basket by mistake. If you have used this tool before and know how to use it give me some ideas please. Thanks Dave
  12. Just looked at your site....I didnt know you did Hals truck and Floyds camaro...Looks good....I know Hal pretty well.. cya Dave
  13. Tony....never thought I would have ran into you again on a banshee website.....This is Dave Irby......I worked with you at Teichert down in patterson. I didnt know you were still in the area. Figured I would have ran into you somewhere around here by now. Hit me up and we will have to go ride some time. send me a message or give me a call. 682-4071 Dave
  14. Im not sure. It just says on DMV website that they did some air test and it is ok....thats what I get out of it anyway. http://ohv.parks.ca.gov/default.asp?page_id=21928
  15. I want to take a trip to sand mountain this weekend maybe. Just curious how the weather is and if there is any snow on it? Thanks Dave
  16. State of California opened pismo to year around for 07. That is awesome for me since I have a red sticker. May be old news but I just found out. Dave
  17. Thanks guys. Dave
  18. Thanks Dajogejr. I didnt realize it was that critical to only have one wide open blast on the plugs. I assumed that the plugs got that ring at WOT and further up the plug was mid range and idle. I will give it another go when the weather clears up. Dave
  19. Pictures look like crap. I will try to take some more.
  20. I went from 280s that came with the toomeys to 330. It looks a little rich. This is from a weekend of riding at pismo beach in california.
  21. Thanks for the help Don. I have stock gearing right now. I pretty much figured the best way is to just go out and practice. Once I started getting off the line better I did ok. I will look into gearing. Who should I look at for a port job? Any site sponsors here port? Thanks Dave
  22. Just got my first banshee not too long ago and made my first trip to the sand with it this weekend. I went to pismo beach in California. There was a 300-400 foot drag track that wasnt really that smooth to ride on but it served the purpose. It was flat for the most part with a rough area in the middle. I figure most of it was my lack of skill and experience but I didnt have much luck winning any races. I did a little better when I somewhat figured out how to launch. I started out trying to launch in 1st gear but it would just spin, so I started in 2nd gear and had to sit up on the tank to get some wheel spin at first. If it hooked in 2nd it would just bog. I have 20x10x10 8 paddle haulers. Any riding or launching suggestions? Id like to do some more work to the motor like porting and such. I want to keep it reliable and fun. I dont so much want an all out drag setup as much as I want something that is a lot of fun in the dunes and can hang with the new 4 strokes. Id like to stay 350 and stock jugs until it lets go, and then think about stepping up to a stroked cub. Mostly I realize that I just need to get out and learn to ride it but I know my current setup probably isnt much competition anyway. I have toomey t6, vforce 3 reeds and K&n pod filters. Let me know what you think. Thanks, Dave
  23. Anyone else?? Id like to get them installed tomorrow morning. Thanks Dave
  24. Ive got an 05 chevy. I got a good deal on banks 4" exhaust and a banks six gun programmer so thats what I have. There are a lot of choices in programmers it just depends how much power you want and how much you want to spend. MBRP makes a good exahust kit, we put one on my dads ford and it was nice. Your first hurdle will be the transmission and torque converter when you start making a lot of power. I cant put my banks on level 6 anymore without slipping the transmission. Dave
  25. I went down and got some 310, 320, and 330 jets today and ill play with those a little. I have an awesome girlfriend and she surprised me with a set of skat trak haulers, billet impeller, Fast racing clutch, and shift star today for my birthday Looks like ill get to add some more to the mod list. Thanks Dave
