  3. If you are going to replace your clutch, shift star or have the clutch cover off for any reason it would be a good time to put it in. Needed, no. Cheap insurance, yes. Jeff at fast has them for a good price.
  4. When I put mine in this is what I was told......the steels have a sharp edge and a dull edge. Doesnt matter which way you start them but make sure they all face the same direction......all sharp or all dull. You also wont turn the steels like it shows in the clymer with the arrow offset or whatever it was. Cant remember now. Fibers dont matter either, just put them in. You wont use the little round rubber cushions either... make sense? Dave
  5. If you cant find one locally you can get one from ENCO. They are in cali so shipping would probably be fast.
  6. tony, i might buy this from you.......trying to decide how broke i am lol.
  7. Ive got some 35pwks as well. CEL needles and easy springs.
  8. I see. Im still running the stocker. Wasnt aware of the hotrods orings. Learn something new everyday.
  9. wow, a little difference of opnions and everyone wants to get into a physical fight......lol....
  10. orings on the crank? the rubber seals on the flywheel and clutch sides? If thats what you are talking about then they need to be replaced. That is what seals your crankcase. What size cub did you get?
  11. Dave, you better get out there and start weighing each ball out of your new lockup. Race season is soon and you are going to be quite busy trying to get those little balls in order. Then if you decide to remove any you are really in for it.
  12. You can run a straight edge on it or measure it corner to corner and see if its square.
  13. I want a rhino or a razor soooo bad. Hopefully gonna buy one this year if work picks up.
  14. that rubber is thick and hard to cut...i used a hack saw but you can use whatever you want.
  15. yep, gotta cut the rubber off......says it in the directions unless you didnt get them.
  16. got some gas carbs ill sell ya
  17. if the rpm is hanging it might be your pilots. how are your air screws adjusted. that or slides are sticking. I ran 330 mains on my bike when I had the same mods but i had 21cc domes.
  18. post pictures.
  19. I always love streetshee's post.... Ask a question then tell everyone they are wrong and do what you want to do anyway. This adds great value to the HQ database. :wallbash:
  20. I wouldnt worry about it. I bet you would be surprised how out of balance everything is inside the cases...I dont think these bikes were built with very tight tolerances.
  21. glad ya got it figured out.
  22. 125 psi is about average.....go to the classified and find some used toomey t5 or t6 pipes.....get an adjustable timing plate.....pull your carbs off and clean them and get them setup correctly...
  23. OK, so when you gonna send it? What is your paypal.
  24. Also, a 4 mil and 392 both use the same piston as long as its on the 110mm stock rod. So you could do the math with your previous squish measurement
  25. If I remember correctly those little casting ears on the intakes have numbers cast in them..... For a stock stroke cub they should be 4.038 and piston .018 in the hole with a .022 gasket For 4 mil cylinder they should be 4.079 and piston .010 in the hole with a .022 gasket
