  1. Well written. It sure is going to be wierd when I win my frame back...lol!!!
  2. Kevin Nailed this one on the head!!! JB has done a bang up job getting this bike put together. I can only imagine the time he has put into it between lining up parts, dealing with the powdercoater, driving down to see Kevin to get the engine, not to mention meeting me half way to pick up the frame! And for those of you whom have yet to deal with or meet JB, he's a great guy to work with. First time I talked to him on the phone I thought he sounded like some redneck....lol. Then when I met up with him to deliver the frame, he looked like a straight up Cali Boy!!! Needless to say, I hope a deserving person wins this bike. I agree with Kevin, this would be fun to do on a slightly bigger level with new parts and a slightly bigger budget. Hopefully the magazine article helps to promote what we have acomplished as a group of ATV lovers who have come together to build a bike from donated parts and labor, and lead the way for a bigger build in the future!
  3. He's not joking for those of you who have not been!!!
  4. Thats fricken hilarious!!!
  5. Well....I dont agree that the riding near gecko is better. The best dunes and China Wall are all towards the washes. I'm not saying that there isn't any good riding areas near gecko, but its more flat out that way. You start hitting good bowls once you get near Olds. And take it how you must.....but dont worry too much about lights. The only night riding I suggest on a big weekend is to cruise to olds and watch the races. Too many people get hurt riding at night on big holiday weekends and its not worth it. I have consistently been going to Imperial Sand Dunes (Glamis, Butter Cup, Gordon's Well) for the past 10 years. We have done it all. And in the end we enjoy playing it safe and making sure everyone has a great time but comes home in one piece.
  6. I'm down with the washes. JB said he'll camp there to. When I was talking with Jeff (F.A.S.T.), he preffered the wash area as well. But lets try to keep everyone together as possible. If we end up having to camp site....so be it. But it sure would be awesome to have the biggest camp site with some of the nicest banshees around!!! That would be impressive!!!!
  7. Whats the deal with the markings on the right cylinder. Is the nikasil damaged at all? Can you catch that with your fingernail?
  8. Looks killer Tate. Very nice!
  9. If its going to be a dragger.....just get the j-arm frame, they are lighter anyways, even after lightening it.
  10. Just a heads up....small bores will not work on a 68mm bore, the oring is exposed in the cylinder. Small bores should only be used up to 66.50mm. Anything larger should use big bore domes.
  11. Did Hi-end Custom car audio for 11+ years. The did Hi-end Custom Home Theater systems for 2+ years. Now I build shit for the sport you guys love

  15. I even run big bores on my 7mil 442 cub. I started with small bores and it ran fine, but I noticed my motor had more usable power with the big bores. I might have lost a little bit on the very top rpms, but what I made up over all, I will not be going back.
  16. Yes....these are all stock parts that were powdercoated.
