  1. My cpis fit like a dream on and off no prob clear everything. It was depressing hanging them up in my garage lol
  2. I’ll get some more pics up in a week or two showing everything so I’m not writing essays here. I’m sure install is smother on a stock setup all this shit wasn’t made to work together. On a side note i forgot to add that they sound awesome. A little funky at idle but on the pipe throaty and mean. When the weather gets nicer I’ll put up a vid
  3. ^^def the carb issue is from the chariot intake having the internal cross over pushing the carb out further and bringing them up a little for the clutch arm. Some upps would prolly give me enough room and I would be able to take the clamp off that I put around the frame/pipe to pull it away from the carb. It was still sitting against the head though and needed spacers behind the front mount. This was only on the left side (while sitting on the bike) the right side fit pretty good just the head pipe was right up against the frame so I spaced that front mount out too. I def needed clamps to seal the pipes. I gave it a shot w/o them but with all the tweaking they weren’t sealing and don’t slip in all the way anyway. The clamps are buffers for my filters to stop them from hitting the pipe too so worked out good. End of the day like I said none of it bothers me just want to let others know who are looking into slps to have a six pack on hand and dont get frustrated on the install. They were worth it, like others said come on early and rip right into the mid range and get right back into the pipe for on/off gas situations.
  4. Trying out some slps. First impression is they fit like shit with bigger carbs (33 pwks) and a manifold that raises the carbs off the clutch arm. I have a chariot intake which is awesome and had to do some muscling to fit these things on. The left side was hitting the carb and the cool head so I put a half inch spacer behind the front frame mount to space it off the engine/carb and a hose clamp to the frame to pull it off the gas line. Again the carb issue is prolly from the raised manifold. The right side was hitting the frame rail/support running down to the bottom of the chassis so I did the same with a half inch spacer and it was good. Then I had to try to get the mounts to line up for the silencer. Ended up having to drill the lower mount out a little to line up and really push on the silencer to get it to mount to the grab bar hole. With an after market grab bar the hardware they provide is useless and you will need longer bolts. And as far as not needing pipe clamps that’s bs you need some type of silicone clamp on there to prevent exhaust leaks at the head/silencer connection. They don’t even slip in all way when mounted. All said and done after fitment issues which I haven’t heard of yet, I do like the pipes. They do what they are advertised to do. Move the powerband down the rpm range and get back on the pipe quicker. I dont feel like they fall off early just different from cpis or other similar pipe. Kinda feel like the “top end pipes” are more thrilling while the slp are more useful for my application anyway. These are pipes you have to try for yourself and decide if they are for you. They do rip though not knocking them in any way like I said just different. All in all I’m keeping them on for a while and will switch back in a few months to get a good feel which I like better. 6. All prices are shipped minus the 3% pp so that would have to be added to the price of gifted thank you Front hubs $35 shipped they were brand new had powdered and have been sitting since so there are a couple of chips here n there Tusk extended rear hubs $55 Chariot 28mm intake $85 Streamline 11way adjust damper $85. I paid 180 for it and lost the other half of the mount. Never installed im sure you can call streamline and purchase the steering stem mount. Pressure plate with chariot pancake bearing $25 Sprocket hub $25 I removed the studs and use stainless bolts instead Shift drum and forks $35 Text 3474895888 thanks Ryan Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Brand new Lsr billet hubs. They are for a yfz450 carb model but will fit a banshee now problem looking to get 150 shipped lmk thanks 3474895888 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Look up a jaw gear puller. I've used them to pull Yfz450 flywheels without a hitch. I'm sure the bigger ones can be adjusted to fit over the banshee flywheel and it will not damage anything. Good cheap tool to have laying around anyway
  9. I'm down trying to get a few guys together now. Def doing thinking ironman. Gotta switch my pipes (got some slps) and do some jetting and I'll def be there.
  10. Watch with the Yfz spindle conversion I looked into on my bike because I have all the parts already. When mocked up without the shocks the upper ball joints do bind towards the end of the travel. I have fireball lts song it might be diff with your arms.
  11. Did you start with the tie rods ends completely screwed all the way in so both sides were equal
  12. Should be a flat spot on one side of the tie rod. If you put one flat spot toward the outter wheel do the same for the other. It's not critical but just better when they're the same.
  13. Take the ball joints back out of both tie rods and start over with both sides screwed all the way in so you know that they are even. there is a right a left side also make sure you put them on the right way. Other than the ball joints being uneven in the tie rod I can't think of anything else that would throw it that far off unless something is tweaked
  14. Chromoly bends and breaks just the same with a hard enough crash. An oem banshee frame holds up pretty well and you can always gusset in high stress areas for cheap. I would stick with oem, for the price of an oem geometry lsr frame you can line your shelf with an oem frame in diff colors for each day of the week.
  15. Yeah but it's not the best looking bike ever made lol. But your right I heavily considered that when I almost pulled the trigger on that red laeger banshee that was quad of the month on here. Guy wasn't too far and wanted 7000 fully built with and old Duncan eliminator motor. End of the day I'm good with what I got but everybody wants one. If I break or bend something the parts are unlimited and I'm not out of commission for months if they will even make it.
  16. Yeah def that sounds awesome I would be interested in doing the same if they did that type of thing.
  17. I have a 28mm chariot billet Intake manifold w/ built in crossover for $100 shipped lmk
  18. You might find a horse with wings before finding a laeger. In the past 10 years I've seen 1 laeger and 1 lsr that were worth buying come up for sale. I kick myself for not buying the laeger. What exactly did Walsh tell you about modifying the stock chassis?
  19. I'll take the nerf bars and engine if you go through with it.
  20. I'm interested in the nerf bars and depending on what you do with the motor weather your going to sell as a whole or part interested in that as well
