  1. Gary is the man, fixed it right up. Back off to the chrome shop. Shipped by itself this time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Kick In the dick is not the word. I sent my kick start to get chromed with the pipes and they didn’t wrap it up good on the way back so it was banging against the pipe. I think it’s too small and sharp of a dent for the classic dent removal. Good news is I emailed Gary and he said he can fix it and send back to the chrome shop for me. Top notch customer service. I wasn’t even crazy about chroming them In the first place just didn’t want to deal with the raw upkeep but w.e that’s in the past now. Appreciate the help tho Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Just like the post says I had a new set of snipers chromed and one was dented during shipping. Can anybody recommend someone who can repair the dent? It’s a smaller one so probably won’t come out with air and heat. I’m thinking of getting it welded filled and ground smooth. Already spoke to the person who chromed it and he will rechrome at no charge. The whole deal sucks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I’m still waiting on pro circuit head pipes I ordered a year ago. I like the way they look on the graph too but def wanted to give snipers a try and they came a while back so snipers it is for now. I had pc slps and cpi pipes in the past but who knew this shit was going to happen. Slps were nice when it was a 421 they exploded and pulled really hard but they def signed off early, wanted a little more on top. I want to get a set of race gas domes also so I’ll be able to make power up down low if I’m not happy, but that shit is expensive to run.
  5. https://ibb.co/QMzsfrZ dyno graph green sniper blue pro circuit
  6. Dyno graph looks good. Can’t post it because Tapatalk sucks but ended up at 102/55 with snipers and 95/55 with pro circuits. Pump gas with 33pwks.
  7. Been a long wait thanks to all the bullshit going on in the world but almost done. Looking forward to getting the bike back together. Having Cam dyno it as well so hopefully I get the graph and can post it on here. I went with some bling to get nice and dirty in the trails. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Sounds like you figured it out, put cold water in it and you should be good 👍
  9. Btw I was saying fill your radiator and take the cap off
  10. Doesn’t matter what’s in the reservoir, empty it if you want. It’s supposed to be a recovery system so it spits it in there hot but when it cools down it’s supposed to suck back in to your radiator. IMO throw it away it’s not your problem. Check the things mentioned there is a reason your spewing coolant
  11. Fill it and start it with the cap off while everything is cold. Should be moving in there but if it’s bubbling up forcefully like it’s pressurized it could be a bad head gasket or any of what hopped up mentioned. Do you have any funny smelling or white smoke out of your exhaust?
  12. Sounds like your overheated and your radiator is boiling over into your recovery tank. Check your cooling system esp if you have a stock impeller.
  13. Nice I told Cam the same thing with low end. Im running almost the same setup, except I’ll be mixing 112&93 for fuel. Keep me posted on how it runs I’ve been waiting a while because cp has cylinders on back order. COVID has the world on back order... bullshit
  14. Sounds good, I feel like not many people go that route when they build. Just about the same price as a 421 if your buying all new anyway. Looking forward to trying it out. Thanks for the feedback.
  15. Redline. Coming from a 421 wanted to do a 465 but he said wouldn’t be that much of difference and to try the 472. Def trust him, he’s the guru building them for a living. All said and done a 521 isn’t much more. Hope I don’t get a 521 bug down the line blowing money on all these motors. It’s all overkill for a trail bike but I want it. Gas mileage is going to a prob no matter what. Have a Clarke 5.5 and a six pack rack for long rides that holds a 2 gallon can.
  16. I’m having one built right now and wanted to hear from someone who has done this motor before. I feel like you don’t hear much about 472’s 4mil/72mm. I Know a 521 isnt too much more but I don’t want to run 39mm+ carbs and don’t know if it would do the best on 33’s. I’m going to get shit gas mileage anyway but hoping the 472 will be slightly better (I doubt it though). The 472 will be ported on 50/50 race gas and running snipers. Gary makes his pipes with adapters so technically you can make the pipes big bore or small bore, don’t know which will work better yet. Any feedback on the motor would be nice to hear.
  17. check your jets make sure they aren’t clogged. Hasn’t been sitting that long but if it wasn’t doing it before I would check there first.
  18. Just like the title says I have a set of brand new slp pipes that I bought as a spare just in case they stopped making pipes again. Bought them about 3-4 weeks ago through jds then dealt with Adam in sales directly due to me not liking the finish on the first set they sent me. This set shines a whole lot better with no imperfections in the nickel where you can see anything when they are mounted. They are brand new though and have never been mounted. I won’t have pics until I get back up to P.A next week but again they are new. Selling because I need different pipes for a bigger motor setup. $550 shipped. If somebody needs them ASAP I will shoot up to PA and get them to ship out ASAP. Text 3474895888 thanks Ryan Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. https://www.hsdracing.com/Yamaha-Banshee-GPR-Steering-Std-Low-Boy-Damper-Blk-Prodview.html you might still be able to get a gpr kit. Looks like everyone else is jumping ship on making parts for a banshee
  20. Best pics I had in my phone to show. The mount kit is really nice. I think the measurements for the actual damper mount is the same for scotts gpr and fastway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Fastway stabilizers. They are awesome similar to Scotts. The mounts are billet and it mounts between the front frame rails. Stick stabilizers are shit. With the scotts style stabilizers there are so many adjustments to make it work for you. Ex. I have mine set where is dampers while I’m riding but it’s free feeling on return to center. Give them a call see if they still have them because I’m not seeing it on the website.
  22. I’ve always ran 50:1 with modern synthetic oil. Yamalube I would run 32:1. Top ends were always clean and never had a problem. Btw 50:1 is 2%
  23. Not parting anything out just selling the top end. Thanks
  24. Serval sorry about that Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Had cam build the motor in the middle of 2016 but only has 4 tanks of gas run through it roughly 25 gallons. Was running on Sunoco 112/93 50/50 mix. I barely rode this quad after dropping probably 15k into it. Will get it apart and get detailed pics of everything as the motor is still in the quad up in pa and I haven’t been there to take the motor out. Ran and started like the day I got it a month ago l so I’m sure it’s all perfect. Will come with everything redline would send with it minus the base gasket. Porting is for Xc trail/ open fire roads I don’t know durations but it has power everywhere. Domes are cut for 50/50 race gas/pump or avgas with w.e squish cam sets it up with. This is the top end only minus the cool head and studs. $950 shipped PayPal fees covered. My number is 13474895888 and I will have the motor out next week for pictures Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
