  1. Thanks guys! Hoping to wrap this fucker up by tonight. Agreed extended swingarms look good but handle like total shit imo. If you ever rode one with a neg length the handling diff is crazy. It makes the bike feel more balanced and a lot lighter in the air too. Depends what your doing with it though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Def not going to argue that fact. The Elka link isnt the first thing I would go out and buy nor would I suggest it if you had a rear shock already and needed some more juice from your motor. The link isn't a night a day thing it just improves the dated rear suspension design of the banshee somewhat. But his bike looks pretty well built and he's looking for the best setup he could get out of a stock framed banshee so why not.
  3. To each his own. Been using the link for years and it works for me. I say spend all the money you can on suspension you only get one body to beat the shit out of.
  4. Thanks guys hoping to get done with it soon. That maiden voyage in the trail is going to feel fuckin sweet. In the meantime I'll keep myself entertained with some of the threads on here lol
  5. Going to switch the look up a bit I have white rings for the rear rims and yellow rings for the front. Too much yellow in the rear with the plastics on. When I get back up there I'll take some pics see how it looks. The all black is just a little dark against all the other black. Hopefully it looks good Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. No mods to the actual bike just front plastic. You have to cut the front plastic where it sits under the tank. The tank fills is that area. Your left with a nose piece the tucks nice behind the tank real easy to take on and off. It's all preference I don't want the big tank but am going to need it so trying to make it look the best I can. I would love to have not cut the plastic and used a yellow tank shroud. But the look grew on me anyway so I'm happy with it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Bought some brand new pwk 35s the weather has just been shit every time I come up here. Too much snow on the ground. I am going to run the internal crossover with the chariot intake spoke to cam he said it makes a diff on a trail bike as far as throttle response down low. So as soon as the snow disappears we shall see what happens. Sucks trying to build a bike from two states away in your mothers shed.
  8. I still have brand new pro circuits for sale if your interested
  9. Your better off going with JL or fireball. Your getting too caught up in the roll name. The roll banshee swingarm doesn't do anything that the other two brands won't. If you can snap a JL or fireball I would think you have a lot more to worry about than a swinger. A -1 with +1 forward arms does wonders for a banshee also. Makes it more rear bias and traction issues are improved as well. Take a look at a 250r how far back in the frame the motor is and how much room it has in front.

  12. Air strykers suck imo just ordered regular pwk . I've been having tuning the a/s and having trouble with my chariot bowls can't get one of them to seal against the carb. Chariot is an awesome guy though sent me a new bowl upon the exchange of the one I couldn't get sealed up. Still having trouble with the one bowl though don't know if it's the carb but the stock bowl seals up fine. Anyway that's where I'm having second thoughts on my jetting because I'm running a chariot intake and now I'm now 100 percent confident in the o ringing built in crossover. It might be leaking air idk but I got up to 175 on the mains and it was still iffy on the plugs. Even Though redline leak down tested the intake I officially don't trust the o rings anymore and maybe believe I had a slight leak upon full throttle causing me jetting issues but not taking any chances a/s either going to go with a proven formula so I know I'm good . Anyway I'm getting rid of the crossover bullshit and running the straight chariot intake which is an awesome piece and waiting on my regular pwk 35s to get this thing tuned. Again chariot makes awesome products not knocking them just had a little trouble and want to eliminate any weak links.
  13. Thanks yeah as far as I can tell it rides real sweet but haven't gotten down and dirty yet. Still going easy my jetting has been real rich on the pilot I have 35 pwk air strykers and they call for small pilots because of the strong signal strength so I'm going down to 35s and that should do it. Midrange feels monstrous on cel needles middle clip and top end I haven't touched yet. Def going to be a fun bike on a -1 swingarm. I will say the wcr pro mod Tranny feels ridicoulsly smooth when I shift I find myself double checking it's so smooth, I have to get used to it. Other than that I can't wait beat the shit out of it I cheated with the first couple of heat cylcles taking it up the road once it really warmed up good then cooled it down. I know the Pistons have to heat up and take shape of the bore but I don't agree with idling a bike for 15 mins 3 times and cooling down, that's almost an hour of run time on the rings at idle.
  14. I did it with cardboard cutouts and the transferred it to to steel. The hoop is never moving I don't know if that's the best thing because somethings gotta give but I hope I don't have to find out. Anyway up the front and then behind the stock shitty brace is where you want them if you can make the pics out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Back in action round 2. Got another heat cycle in and the seal held this time. Must have got a little crooked when I put the last one in gotta be careful with those things. Heavy grease this time when I pressed it in gotta stick it in nice a wet [emoji6]. Leaned it out one clip on the needle going to see how she rides in the midrange and then get to the top end after a couple of more heat cycle and up the road runs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. A little backwards on pics but w.e. JL -1 mx style swingarm. Awesome looking arm beefed up big time Johns a good dude too just real busy had to wait a long time for this thing Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Some front hoop and steering stop support I did before powder. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
