  1. you NEED new studs with a Pro design cool head. the stocks are not long enough. and you do NOT need studs with a Noss machine head. there are acouple other makers of cool heads but i dont know much about them. maybe someone else will chime in and give some more info. oh yeah your probably going to need new Orings aswell with the head. these are your gaskets and could definatly mess up your motor if they are streched or bad.
  2. wow what a come back thats was intense Go Colts
  3. could also just be condisation, your pipes going from cold to hot you would definatly get some condisation build up at the temp.
  4. PC'S are almost the exact same shape as T5's the fmf are alittle different with that said i would stick with the pc's but the chrome on the T5's is so much better

  8. hey guys im not getting married untill 2009 my fiance wonts to do it so i hope that doesnt mean shes going to make me sell it after the wedding lol JK i would never. she said you can buy little bride and groom like that and then just get the little banshee from a store. i will make sure i remeber to post pics when we pic the things up but it wont be for awhile yet
  9. well do a compression test but i bet its just because your not use to it. all banshee are like this well most of them. your not like a 2 stroke and are very easy to kick start and even puch down with your hand but do a test just to make sure
  10. yup its just a switch so you could cut the wires and just wire a new key set into it or cut them and just use a toggle switch or just wire the two together and fire it up and use the kill switch to shut it down
  11. LOL sorry to laught i would be pissed. i have a buddy with some AC propeg nurf bars with heal gaurds he paid out the ass for them new and to this day still on of the mounts doesnt line up WHAT SO EVER. WAY OFF i mean its fixable if you cut the tab off and tig it back on but for the price they sould be gold plated and to not mount up wow. sorry for the spelling i really probably the worst speller on this site
  12. cool i have always wondered. does he have a site or parts list. well i might aswell give him a personal message. go right to the source
  13. [theres an elevation finder i found PINNEd at the top of the general disscution fourm wicked tool i think.
  14. no problem.
  15. it seems to me alot of people are suggesting him to get parts of off? what does he have.? are they used parts or new. is he a distributer or a wreaker?
  16. i would suggest a set of T5's you can get them from Rockeymountainatv.com $499. i never loocked at you location but if you live in the U.S. then its free shipping
  17. stock carbs are 26mm so if you have an aftermarket 28 mm i would stick with them. they will give you a good low end. but if you just have stock carbs defenatly upgrade set of 28 pwks better carb all around
  18. definatly check compression
  19. i would deffenatly suggest GForce Axles comes with warrenty and is only $199 from rockeymountainatv.com they are strong as shit to from what i have heard. i was scared to get one a first just because they wjhere so cheap so i thouhg they where shit but aparently not. Now for you +6 i dont think any aftermarked axle is that wide. iv only seen +4 thats what mine is
  20. me and my buddy both have 20" tires and i have 10" rimes ande he has 9" but both tires are the exact same height. not to sure why he whould nee to get an 8" rim how is that going to give him more ground clearance i would say a 22" tire with whatever rims you have now is going to hive you the same ground clearance as an 8" rim and a 22" tire. please corret me if im wrong i just cant understand
  21. take a look at the suspension. give it a oush on front and rear. make sure you cant bottom it out also make sure when it come back up it doesnt spring back up really quick. make sure you can hear it come back up. dont really know how to explain the sound but im sure you know what i mean. suspension is an expencive although a very good updrade but would blow you budget out of the water
  22. T5's only beacuse you cant go wrong with them if you looking to do some mods in the future and the fit and finish is perfect.
  23. ok i was just on bikebandit.com and it shows an expolded veiw and i was right you put the key in the crank with the round side in the slot and the flat side ontop. there a link to the site its very helpfull if you dont have a Clymers http://houseofmotorcycles.bikebandit.com/p...50S+BANSHEE.asp
  24. well im sure someone will correct me if im wrong but all the motors iv put together never put my banshee motor back together yet but the motors i have put together you slid the key onto the crank first with the flat part sticking up and the rounded part down into the grove on the crank. not 100% as i havent put my motor back together yet.
  25. well im just going to put my two cents in and say my 2001 banshee i had acouple years back was bone stock and i would get raped buy they guy on his ds all day long and he was a good 50/60 lbs hevyer then i was. but with my 2004 banshee bone stock i can stay right beside both raptor and ds and both bikes where piped. im not smoking anything i have freinds that will back me up and say that my 2004 is way better then my 2001 was. There fore im going to say all bike run differently and are faster then others straight from the factory. i will have to agree with dajogejr some people are smokein the pipe
