  5. I only read about half of the posts so maybe someone has brought this up. I am in the same spot and I am going to have all my stock bolt heads and nuts polished. Its cheap and you know they are good bolts. Polished they look as good or better than any kit. If you need a polisher let me know I have a friend.

  7. I wish I could go with Bobby and my quad. Bobby is taking my quad but not me..... Bobby's quad is looking real good!
  8. I have sold a few things on ebay to oversee's buyers just tell them they HAVE to pay you through paypal and after the money clears you will ship it. USPS is the easiest and cheap way the ship it over seas but let them know it can take a while to get to them depending on where he is..... IMO paypal only. if he doesn't want to do it sell it to the next guy...
  9. I feel like as soon as they can under stand stop, go, turn, slow down, and go faster they are old enough to ride. I bought my 2 year old daughter a JR 50 and made training wheels for it. She still doesn't get the slow down thing slow I haven't let her ride it yet. I would say as soon as it get warm out she will go on her first ride. Really she was 1 1/2 in those pics
  10. Yea they are for the pegs. Yea the rear should be on the way next week
  11. I ordered my floats from fox without the anodizing on them (it was a pain they didn't want to sell them that way) and I am going to polish them. They will look SWEET.... I should have them in about a week
  12. Be careful sandblasting it can pit it and make more work. Make sure its not to course. Its best to glass blast it. After you blast it use 400 grit wet/dry till you can't get it any smoother then 600 grit. Use both 400 and 600 to get all the pits out. Then put it on a polishing wheel if you can if not use 1200 then 2000. After that put mothers on it and your good to go.... Of course the best way to do it is pay someone. I have a buddy that does it for $15 an hour plus extra material (normally there is no extra material) He did all this in 8 hours. It would have taken me twice as long and looked half as good.
  13. when riding on the sand I use wd40 also on both my dunner oring chain and my dragger non oring chain...
  14. My friends 60 hp shee was having clutch issues for a year. Every weekend out on the dunes he would need to replace his clutch. I talked him in to the lock out and he has never had a problem since.... I LOVE the lock out
  15. I get a big discount and I shipped a shee from NC to me here in MO last year and it was $177. I used yellow freight but again we have a 77% discount. Call yellow or whatever LTL company is big around you. You could also call someplace like freightquotes.com and ask then about a partial flatbed. Sometimes they are looking to fill a load and are happy to make an extra couple hundred.... Good luck if you want me to look up a freight quote pm me your zip and his. But that won't be with my discount because it would need to come to me.....I think.... Long story shortened $900 for someone that never ships is about right.
  16. I would do mine a bright color because I love the look but if it was for sale I would do a black with silver vein powder coat. The other option is sell it as is for cheaper or say you will PC buyers choose of color included in the price.
  17. I think I paid $150 ( I don't really remember for sure) but I got a deal from a guy that owed me. $250 sounds good to me....
  18. End of march it starts to warm up enough to ride during the day (in ok.) but still pretty cold at night. I am heading out there mid march....
  19. IMO it hard to beat the comfort of a Shoei or a Arai. You can alway have it painted. I took my old Shoei and had it Airbrushed. Before After
  20. It looks good I wish mine was done
  21. I have had to call them and talk to them before. They gave me the wrong info but they answered. I would try again or email them... http://www.dynaonline.com/english/
  22. In the past I would glass blast my stuff then start with 400 grit sand papers, then 600, them 1200, then hit it on the polishing wheel, and then hit it with a little mothers for protection. But that is a lot of work now I have a guy that will polish for $15 and hour. He did all of these parts for $120. It is worth every penny. In comparison I paid Casscade $120 plus $12 shipping just to do my carbs.
  23. Look great good job
