Just put a new 39 dollar tusk clutch in it. For 39 bucks thats a pretty easy place to start and who knows, it may fix it.

I had one of those bumpers and I wasnt a big fan of its styling. Looks better on your bike then it did on mine though.

It wont break off in there. If it pinches it that hard youve got a problem.

I nearly paid for an enitire cub, stroker crank, lock up clutch, pretty much my whole bike selling the old parts and getting new ones. The only bad part of parting them out is you will have shit left that NOBODY wants and you cant get rid of. I know there are lots of people on here that make some $$$ parting them out though, so its not a bad idea.

I would get the 03 stock one. Both of them have stock pipes, and the other doesnt have much for mods so I would get the newer one. There was a wiring change in 1996 I beleive so you would be in the new wiring with either one of those. I would love to find a stock shee for 2400 bucks, I think its a good deal.

You remove the airbox and those hook onto the carbs. Pretty good cheap mod, more air makes more power!

I really dont think you can get that seal in without splitting them. That would be cool as heck if you could though, let us know how it goes.

Take the spark plug out, take a piece of solder and bend it to a 90 at the bottom. Put it down the hole where the spark plug goes, and pull the solder up the side of the cylinder till you feel it stop where the head starts. Turn the motor over and then measure your squish.

Well being my first banshee, a 421 cub is going to be exciting. Its not a bad thing, except the 4 grand. lol :thumbsup:

It will be the clutch cushions. Mine did that, was told it was the crank, bought a cub, 4mm crank, spent close to 4000 dollars, and then found out it was the clutch cushions.

Well, first off I dont sell bolt kits, just had horrible luck with a kit that cost more then is should have for the poor quality of the kit. Second, fuck off... If you want a cheap adjustable timing plate, ricky stator has them cheap. But beware you are getting what you pay for, Ricky stator stuff is low quality imo.

Its geared lower. Its got 4.10s now. It had 3.55s from the factory and I hated it. Bad thing is now if you try to take off the line it just lights em up from the low gears. I was thinking about getting an intake, ive heard they will give the pipes more growl. Ive got dual magnaflows so they bark as it is. Maybe ill order up an intake and a chip, see what that does... thanks for the help, always nice taking to someone who actually has what you are taking about and knows from experience.

Mines a 5.7 I have heard they tune like crazy, i just havent done much yet. Changed the gears and put a cat-back on it and thats it. I just want it to pull like a mother, so I may have to get the superchips deal and see what it does. Your ride sounds crazy!

Yeah its hard to imagine not being able to go in the summer. Its still colder then hell here at night so its just hard to fathom the heat there. Glad its in cali and not here!

Seriousley that 6000 feet makes a difference on a sunburn. When I was in hawaii on my honeymoon I never got burned at all. When we guide hunters here they about die from the sunburns they get. Heat really doesnt bother me, when its 110 here I have long sleeves on so I dont burn.
