  1. I got the tors off, got everything unplugged and I can not get my wifes banshee to idle. You can hold the throttle where it needs to idle, and it will slowly bog and die. Do I need to change the pilot jets or whats the deal?
  2. I like them because they are different from everyone else. I cut my wifes a little different so I am all for the unique stuff. Looks good!
  3. Cool, i will get it out of there tomorrow. Yeah, allen heads are nice for everything. I am going to put them on these carb bowls for sure.
  4. Little black box? Do i need to do this? I unplugged the ebrake, the throttle, and the two things on the tors. Does this little black box need unhooked too?
  5. Jeff at FAST can get you an X-ring chain in anylenght you want it. I got mine in 2 days from him too. www.farmandsandtoys.com
  6. Majicmike intakes all the way!! I have them on my cub and they are going on the wifes bike very soon. PM majicmike here on HQ (hes in my friends so you can find him) or you can call him the 30th when he is back from memorial day. His phone number is in my signature.
  7. How much material needs to be taken off the bosses where the idle screws go. This is something I could do before I have all the parts just to get a head start. Also how many plugs are there that need undone? One on the throttle, e-brake, and one on each carb right? I have the vitos kit coming if that matters. Thanks Kaos-- not trying to steal your thread, just get info. Sorry for jacking the thread.
  8. Great pics climb! I have never taken tors off before and have to take my wifes off tomorrow night. Kit will be here at 6 tomorrow and I plan to have it all done saturday morning so all the info I can get is great. Those pics really show good where the idle screws go.

SERIOUSLEY!?!!?! Thats a deal! HAHAHAHAHA just kidding. Yeah let me know if you find something cheap though. I am gonna see how the paul turners run for a while.
  12. Yup even the rubber material. I stretched the hell out of my seat when I put it on and its nice and tight.
  13. majicmike does offer these services. He has them done at a place and they are TOP NOTCH! Mikes polisher could polish a turd and make it look like chorme. Not bad priced for polishing at all either. (polishing isnt cheap, but this guy is as good priced as they come)
  14. I wouldnt use anything if my new chain hadnt been so sticky shen I got it. I couldnt get all the sticky off so I put the Klotz stuff on so it didnt stick to much.
  15. 30psi wont do anything bad. I put 45 psi in an Extreme Hauler to set the bead. I had to air it up that much and throw in in the sun to set the bead. 30psi will stretch nice and wont blow up or anything.
  16. Coolhead I would go with majicmike. Porting I would go with Jeff at FAST.
  17. Pics do Rippens coolhead no justice at all... It is WAY sharper looking in person.
  18. 30psi in the sun. Works perfectly. If it is good direct sunlight and the rubber gets hot you can hear then stretch.
  19. I have a billet pro flow intake with a very new K&N Filter and pre-wrap for sale. $55 +shipping and 2000 yamaha banshee headlights- $25+ shipping

Thats no kidding. Seems like it goes it spurts... I think last month there were quite a few sets for sale now none. I am getting a set of Paul Turner Mids from Majicmike to run on her bike. Should work well for her.
  21. Rippen just had the same problem, no spark and it was a stator. Changed it out and it fired one kick.
  22. I just got some Klotz chain lube that kinda dries so nothing sticks to it. I used in in the sand last week and it worked well. No sand stuck to the chain or anything so I think its good stuff.
  23. It would make sense since you have no spark, and its not that uncommon of a thing for a coil to go out.
  24. What year? 06s had some jacked up wiring on some of them.
  25. Daym..... Someone dug deep in the archives to find this topic... its a little on the old side.
