If you are changing it in a year for a lockout cover, yes you can paint it, its only got to last a little while. Just get some Krylon rattle can and go to it. If you get some grey general primer and use it first it will look better too.

Where did you send your parts? was it local in San Diego or somewhere else?

The only thing I was ever told about iriduim plugs, (i dont know if this is true, dont want to find out by trying either), is if you are running lean, the little wire on the iriduim plug will burn off before you burn a hole in your piston. Not sure how much truth there is to that, but thats one thing I was told. I ran them for a little while, but they cost too much for no benefits that I could ever find. I run br8es now with no troubles.

I prefer Haulers for everything.

Do you mean the little deal one of the mouning bolts goes through? If so its just a peg to line everything up, should be fine without it.

I would just use Engine Ice, but you can use just your normal prestone/ water 50/50 mix and add a couple cap fulls of Water wetter or you can just use water and water wetter mixed how ever it is suppose to be mixed.

The mounting tab is on the silencer... Here are the pipes I sold you and the mounting tab is there on the stinger. You dont need to use the middle mount thats on the frame on aftermarkert pipes, I never have on any.

If its done right chrome paint looks damn near like chrome.

DHL does suck. Our paint we use always come DHL and the cans of paint look like they have been through a war when they get here. Word to the wise, insure anything you buy if it is shipped DHL.

T-dub is the way to go for swingers. Great quality and great price!

I would get it done. If you have the bottom end apart, why not do it. It doesnt cost much, and is cheap insurance. If you plan on porting your motor in the future I would get it welded for sure.
