i already had shearers inframes,and i liked them,but im going all out,and building a 100%drag bike,and i want to get everyhing possible,and im still not sure on what ill end up getting.we will have to see.i also heard that shearers dont run as good in cold weather?

i know jhon know his stuff,its just that lynn ported my motor,and converted my carbs,and his a cpi fanatic,and i trust him as much as i trust jhon,the only thing is i like shearers better than cpis,so r/atvshee i guess we are going to have to settle this the old fashion way.cub against cub baby.if you come down to pismo during the summer let me know and we can hook up.thanks

alky gave me about 11/2 to 2 bikes,atleast thats what i was beating a friend of mine on a cub on gas,but his like 80 pounds lighter than me,and before we would change wins.ofcourse he is now going to alky as well so we will see.also how much are you paying for the bb?and where are you getting them?

ok fellas,i m looking for out of frame pipes,the problem is i cant make my mind up.i got on 1 hand jhon from sandtoyz trying to sell me a pair of small bore shearers outof frame with the triple crome both on the left side for 500,these pipes are used,and in very good shape,and as some of you know shearers on one side have to be costum made,therefor costing[$$700] a little more than cpis.on the other hand i got lynn from lc performance saying that cpis make more horse power,and thats all lynn runs on his bikes,and i can get a brand new pair of cpis for 550,small bore.what do you guys think?ill be running this on a 421 cub on alky.i want some personal experience.thanks.i know this is been talked about,but i dont remember ever talking about out of frames. :: :shoothead: :shrug:

your cable will work,as far as slides,flat slides are makunis,and d slide are pwks.when i first got this pjs i had them on the stock intake boots,but i highly recomend you getting the right intake boots for this carbs.

sorry about not getting back sooner,but i been working late,and my crazy ass buddy,and i are working on both of our frames over at his house almost everynight,but i still got everything,and im on line everynight so its not that hard to get a hold of me.[exept the last 3 or 4 nights]

iam going with a pvl,straght cut gears,and out of frame cpis or shearers,not sure on the pipes,and iam also cutting my frame and making it lighter,it never ends.

i have an ltr 450,and its getting some web cams,13.5to1 piston,and its getting ported,now for being a single cyl,i think its going to smoke a lot of ported banshees,is all in the set up,and driver skill,and no iam not saying it will beat any drag bikes.

i think if dela hoya got knock out by b hopkins,hewill get KO by floyd,and you guys are right dela hoya is a straight sell out.

ricky johnson is the man,i dont know much about him just that he was a motorcross,or super cross champion for a number of years,and i would have had a blast if i would have been riding with those guys that day,hell even mike metchxubn was there,it look like a fun day if you ask me.and as far as them thinking that they were fast,i dont think that they thought that at all,ricky now races in some kind of offroad truck series,and also races the baja 1000,and i know he is in some pretty fast sh%$# when his racing.polish where the hell have you been bud?

i have a cub as well,and i say he will need an override.it makes a big difference,get a dunable,there out there so why not i think that they are worth the money. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
