you guys pretty much answered everything,and than some of what i know about axels.1 more thing i want to add to this. i know ris design also makes a drag axel,but i have also seen some of their axel brake,not sure if they sell different types of drag axels,but having said what i have seen i would never buy an ris axel.hope this helps

i had 19 cc domes w 155 or 160 compression[i think]but i use 50/50 race gas pump gas,sea level.hope this helps.also the guy that bores my cyls makes a nice tight bore[tighter bore,better comp] ,i just had to brake it in easy.4 or 5 heat cycles yadda,yadda,yadda.

i got my water wetter at cycle gear here in so cal,but as stated if you use water wetter,do not use it at 32f or below,cuz it will freeze.also the directions are in the back of the bottle.for me it sures beats paying 17 bucks everytime i drain my fluids.you can get like 4 gal of solution w water wetter. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

a darablue axel is just as heavy,and i asked oround,about the excalibur and everyone said that ill be wasting my money.i also want to be a little competitive when racing all those really fast yfz"s and trx.its an addiction really cuz i do go dunning w this thing alot,but i also like dragging w it.you guys all know how that is.

i currently own a ltr450,is my dunner,and iam doing a little work to it.i am going to drop in some web cams mid to tp,higher comp piston,13.5/1,and doing a little porting.iam also getting a lonestar +4 swingarm,my question is can i get a drag axel for this bike.lonestar doesnt make a drag axel for the ltr,so does anybody know where i can have one made for a rasonable price.thanks.please help. :: :: ::

ive used 16/42 for first gear starts,and has worked great,but i rather stick to second gears starts,and use for hills 15/43 i have 22 tires w 10 paddles

i can only speak for myself,but i had my first shee ported by trinity w a shaved head,never runed right blew up like 3 times after about 8 hrs on the motor.finally tossed the cylinders,and started fresh,had the cylinders ported by a good friend choco racing in mexicali,and never had those problems after.and i dont think big red said anything w hate,besides that ive never really seen trinity be competitive,like some of the other shops,knt,dnm,etc.trinity is more in the category of duncan,alba etc.

also get a cool head with 20 or 19 cc domes,and a timing plate set at 4+,if you do a cool head check your compression.maybe ill see you in pismo soon,cuz as soon as it starts to gets to hot to go to glamis,i go up there like every other weekend. :thumbsup: .

i say yes 160,or 165 main,and work your way down,and also if youre serious about dunning youill need a dunner bike.

i have pjs 34,w a 421 cub,iam also at sea level,and i have 150 mains,50 pilots,cel needles,i up from the center[i recently lean it out,and it clears up really good]19 cc domes as well.hope this helps. :thumbsup:
