  1. looking for one in good condition. Must have plastic insulator sleeve that is in the manifold end. The quad is a 1984 but I think the carbs are all the same up to 1989 or so. Thanks!
  2. You might want to get a "dual gasser" so you can change up from thumb throttle to twist. I've never used one but some guys like them. http://parts.motorcycle-superstore.com/1/1...ose-racing.html
  3. any of you guys heading out there this weekend? I'll be there until Monday afternoon. Let me know. angler
  4. IMO you have way too much power for those 10 inch rims. 8s give you more rubber to the ground. Ask your builder. You can sell the 10s here to someone with a stock motor. You'll be happier with 8s.
  5. I had 20x10x10s on mine when it was stock they were great. After the port work, pipes and carbs they wouldn't hook up anymore. Just fishtailed and shook. I put 21x11x8s and now IT HOOKS.

    Suzuki LT50 Carb

    I need one for my son's quad. It's a 1984. I think they're the same from 1984
  7. Not to step on your thread, but you got me thinking. I too have some fishing gear that I would be willing to trade for 4 mil stroker conversion parts, clutch basket, etc. Bottom end stuff. My gear is all for BIG GAME. International 50sw, TLD20/30s with Tiburon frames, ACCURATE Reel (limited edition), Calstar Rods, Marlin/Tuna lures...and lots more. Like I said, not trying to take over your thread. I might know someone interested in buying your reels. How much for them, cash? angler
  8. Trying to get this thing going for my son. It runs but it's kinda beat. Need a manual and anything in newer condition that you might have laying around. I think it's a 1985 could use: carb wire harness plastic Pipe anything else? THX!
  9. I'm looking to gather the parts that I need to build my 4mil. Whatever you have? I'm selling (or trading) some cameras including video (CANON Optura XI mini DV) it's one step below the cameras the news teams use and used a lot for documentaries. I bought it about 3 yrs ago and hardly used it. Paid $1500 for it: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,1398020,00.asp Also have: NIKON N70 (film SLR) CANON Rebel (film SLR) nylon body for light weight Also have a couple lenses for these. All in excellent condition. Always kept in their bags. Interested? email: colemakena@mac.com or PM me.

    Petcock Valve

Have you tried replacing the O-Ring? Mine leaked, so I took it apart and blasted it with carb cleaner and air, then it was fine.
  12. I had motor work done by Jeff and bought some parts from him. Besides the great work he did, when I call with a question he makes me feel like a VIP. Great guy!
  13. the lever and cable are set right. I think I've been lucky with the clutch so far. I think the 35s were too much for it. No wheel slip on asphalt. Thanks guys.
  14. Hey guys, It's been a while since I had a stock head so I can't remember the torque pattern. I found this shot on ebay but I can't see the numbers very well, so I put the numbers where I thought they were. Am I right? Thanks, in advance.
  15. Someone beat me to it but, YA, you can get more here in SoCal. Find out how much to ship to LA and put it in "The Recycler" or "Craig's List." I see stock Shees for 3000 all day long look here: Craig's List good luck.
  16. I think they're sold for $50. I'll let you know.
  17. SOLD. Thanks, "LouderIsBetter."
  18. Nobody? To be clear I had a bright light shining on it when I shot those pics. It's actually a lot darker but it does look purple when light hits it right. It's a cool color, just not on a blk/yellow Shee... maybe I'll change my plastic!
