  1. I don't know how much you want to spend but if you send your cylinders/head to FAST and have them ported/shaved, you'll kick yourself for not doing it sooner. Few hundred bucks and you will be stoked! After the bug bites and the fever sets in, you'll build your other Shee bigger!
  2. Crazybanshee? That's more like crazy rig! how long is that? How many can you sleep in the cab?
  3. I added to a NOSS Head thread and got some PMs from some guys that wanted it. I use water, dish soap, sometimes Simple Green, but it always had a purple look. I'll leave it on if it's going to be too much trouble, I was just trying to pass on the Sacred Purple Head  Ya, I wish it was Yellow
  4. You guys are getting me all excited! I can make it there in...2.5, if no trailer, no cops. or 3. Let me know! Hey trapp350, did you you swap those sleeves around?
  5. What color is the 5 gal gas tank?
  6. shouldn't you be in bed? This is the West Coast Forum time now!
  7. So, I've been getting some PM's about the purple head. I guess it's a popular color. It's actually darker than the picture shows. It's a deep dark purple in the daytime. Anyway, I replied to the PM's, but no replies so I'm gonna put it up for sale. One year old, great condition. $150 plus shipping. Comes with nuts, new copper washers, new o-rings. Also, putting in for sale forum. thx! angler
  8. What city are you in?

    shee motor

Where are you located? There's a stock motor from a 2005 in the Los Angeles Craigslist. He said it was stock and told me $1000.00 http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/mcy/582479998.html
  10. Check out my Purple Head
  11. Does anyone have a purple...I mean "black" head? I have a black one but it looks purple. Oh well, other than that it's awesome! Nice fit, easy install, great compression, I definitely recommend them!

  13. you beat me to it  Also, anyone with stock hangers should do this fix even if they are not broken yet. It's easier to do if they are still glued.
  14. Well, I guess I've been running it like this since I got them back from the shop. About a year. And they were working pretty good.
  15. not the entire carb. If the "slides" are in backwards (they were in the wrong carb and backwards.)
  16. This could have been the reason for a few carb issues that I had. Anyone know what happens when they're in backwards?
  17. which side of the carb (front or back) does the notched (tapered) side of the side go?
  18. sorry, everything sold!
  19. Still on my 2003. Everything done already for you. Not sure which jets but they were put in for FMF or Toomey pipes. Worked great with my FMFs but my new CPIs want more carb. Great condition. Stock Carbs/Cable/K&Ns/Outerwears/Manifolds/Reeds Everything for $150 shipped Or tell me what you need.
  20. Can't blame a guy for trying. I will suggest that you let a shop install the kit for you. Unless you are good with tools. You need to drill holes in the sides of the carbs and run a tap in there for threads. good luck, and welcome to the HQ! angler
  21. I have a set of stock carbs with the TORS eliminator kit installed, cable, idle screws, re jetted for pipes, K&N filters $125 shipped. nice cond.
  22. Do you think adding Velocity Accelerators to a bigger carb addresses both bottom end and top end issues?
  23. I also have an aggressive dune/play port with stock carbs. it was all fine with FMF pipes but as soon as I put on the CPIs I ran out of gas in 4th gear (racing.) I was told that the bowls are too small on stockers. I can't imagine that 28s are going to hold much more gas than 26s? Everyone is telling me to go with 35s. You could always put those velocity accelerators in 35s for more bottom end. That's what I'm doing unless someone tells me something negative about those.
  24. I have the modified shift shaft from FAST and the cascade modified star, but I had a local shop install them for me. I used to power shift a lot before I had those installed so it might be bent forks? I'll have to talk to Jeff about the installation of the shaft. thx.
  25. you have a pm
