  1. If your just playing around in fields racing in straight lines and doing little rabbit jumps go for a good woods port job and a hone with new rings, shave your head .030 and get a cheap Ricky Stator timing plate and advance it +4 degrese. Then for shorter distance racing drop down a tooth on your front sprocket. If you are doing any woods/track riding whatsoever do yourself a big favor and get some used +2+1 A Arms and some Works suspension (a Timing plate is only 35 and milling your head is only like 30 dollars and it will greatly improve your power and you can still use 93 octane). Upgrading the front end will make you faster on the trails or track and it will keep all of your power to the ground way more than the shitty stock front end the banshee has. You have to figure the 450 front end setup is already 20 years ahead of the Banshee.
  2. same here and I like them better than the stock ones.
  3. I like them. That is the head I would have went with if it werent for the Noss Head. I believe you need longer cyl studs for it and your rite you can only get domes from trinity but its a good head.
  4. I have it 3 way adjust elite fronts and LT Linkage and shock(also 3 way adjust) I paid around 1300 for the rear end setup but I havent been abel to get the rear setup correctly. I need my swingarm cut so it will fit cause of the diameter of the spring. Main reason is Im a big guy and I need a thicker spring but it sure is a pain in the ass.
  5. It will make a very noticable diffrence and since you are already running such high compression (at least 110 Octane Ide assume your running already) Bump it up to around +7 just make sure your running enough octane.
  6. No they wont fit like they should.
  7. damn thats a good job and it looks awsome. You can always add more when it gets scratched too
  8. I think either would look great. Silver is a bit more original but you cant beat the looks of an all black decked out shee.
  9. I think anyone who makes that conversion need smacked upside the head. Its like are you trying to fool someone or would you rather have a raptor in any case it means roost in your mouth and everyone laughing at you.
  10. They are good to have espically in shitty conditions. Plus if you spray pam underneath them the mud comes rite off even if you let it dry.
  11. They will fit but thats not what they were made for. Just like you can get Works or Elkas from a 450 swaped to a banshee but as far as them being built from the suspension company they would have to change all sorts of shit and it wouldnt be cheap. Those shocks look stock btw.
  12. What is your riding elevation and name all of your mods, What is your air filter setup +current jetting. I run the 2:1 setup but there are alot of guys here who run dual Keihins that will get you real close.
  13. Did you check the parking break? Unplug the TORS System? I would start by putting bigger piolets and main jets in your carbs its probably starving. Also start it up and spray carb cleaner around the head and intakes and see if it revs real high if it does you have an air leak.
  14. The stock spring is pretty weak. Im not sure on what rate it is probably around 200 less. Eibach or hyperco whatever spring company you choose will be able to help you out on that They make em up to 500lbs spring weight offer them thicker or more wound. You will need a revalve with that. I recomend GTThunder.com
  15. I have a pair of MSR Gloves and they arent shit compared to a pair or Under Armor reciever gloves. Super tacky, good for protection from the cold.
  16. Yeah I put on my Noss Head (Great Product Great Guy to deal with) and was at 150psi each and I put a timing plate in at +4 and Im still safe on 93. Check to make sure though.
  17. I agree great mod for more lowend power. I did the +4 timing and the 2:1 carb at once and I could differentiate where the power was comming from and I think for the dollar its probably the best mod along with tires and pipes.
  18. Grind them off and use some blue spraypaint. Youd be suprised how well that works.
  19. Yeah thats an awsome frame that will handle all the power you give it
  20. I lost a piece of the clutch arm and the screws. I have the cabel hooked onto the one piece I got but theres alot of resistance. Any ideas tips?
  21. Detuning with a single carb setup is garbage. I just put one on mine got it used for 380.00. I think the numbers Trinity puts up are bullshit but it does give you a good lowend mid and top better than stock power.
  22. Yeah this thread is just a see whos intrested thing and based on this thread I will put another one up with a date. This is gonna rock!
  23. Sweet, Im definatly gonna pick one up when I get some money in my Paypal account. Good Work Simon
  24. Yeah sounds like a good idea, that way we can leave the 4 stroke guys having to brush their teeth every ten minutes from all of the roost we rain on them my friend. There are also alot of tracks up around that way too, but Ide rather do this type of riding first and plan another one for Tower City, Or Raush Creek, ect.. some places like that.
  25. Oh yeah man thats my whole Idea. Bring as many people as you want. The more the Nastyer! I can show you guys alot of kickass places to ride and my trails are pretty fun too. LOL Registration, whats that? Ha no man I own private land and everyone up there is cool with people riding at their place so longs they pick up their trash and dont start huge bonfires. This address is about a 5 minute ride from my place up there and its where I get all of my parts and work done. BUCHANAN RACING 202 Jones Road Harrisville PA 16038 My address in the city is 297 Main Street Pittsburgh PA, 15201
