I'm from barstow, ca, but I'm in the navy and stationed in san diego, I go to dumont a lot because I ride with my pops and my other family and friends, we love to hill shoot at comp hill and dune all the way to the north pole!!! I haven't been to glamis since being stationed in san d but my brother just bought an 06 shee and he is getting stationed in san d also so him and I'll probably take a trip soon to glamis, but I really like dumont! I was last at dumont on the 26th of december

I didn't mean to hurt your feelings because you're chanrging too much for your pipes unless they look brand new! Which there not because there turning blue in some spots and scuffs!! Why would I tell you were to get some sheaers for cheap when you're being a prick!

I would take the airbox lid off, you'll notice the performance gains a lot more with the airbox lid off!! Then the jetting depends on your elevation, temp, fuel oil ratio, and type of gas your using!!! Oh by the way FMF web site for jetting sucks!!!! I have a 2004 yz250 and I put on a fmf factory fatty and titanium 2 silencer and the jetting specs they gave I was running way lean and I was in the same situation that they describe! If you need anything else just post and everyone will help you out the best we can!!!

Why do you want to trade? Did you like the performance of the cpi's?

Why would someone pay 400 for some used cpi's when they can pay 450 for some new sherarers! I guess if someone has some much money they want to waste it! Good luck selling your pipes

Your fuel to oil ratio does affect the jetting. Example if your jetting is perfect and your normal fuel to oil ratio is 40:1 and then you decide to change your fuel to oil ratio to 24:1 and don't rejet then the shee is going to run leaner. The more oil the leaner the bike runs, at least thats what I read off of eric gorr's 2 stroke jetting performance.

Hey Greg you know I have some laker custom plastics, but you can look at them at www.sweetquads.com then look at grills and plastics, I don't think they sell the plastics seperately, I'm not sure though! They're kind of expensive 400 dollars for all the plastics and grill. They look awesome though. If you have the money get the whole set.

I have laker custom plastics on my shee and there awesome and no there not fibergalss, there expensive though for front and rear plastics with grill is about 400. go to sweetquads.com search for laker custom plastics.

why you slaing the motor if you just got it built! Just curious I guess!!!

Just call any shop that does suspension and they'll tell you exactly what you need for the type of riding you do! Make sure when you get the new shock you let the shop know if you have an extended swingarm or shortened! If you also want to you can take your stock shock off and have it revalved and resprung to the type of riding you do!

i have 21x12x8 8 paddle haulers and the hook up really good. I would go with an 8 inch rim because there light then 9's or 10's.

I just got back from dumont dunes today, but last night was crazy because I was spanking these two guys on there yfz450's all modded out, well the first two races they blamed it on I was doing a rolling start, I was like fine, the next race one of the guys got on one side the other got on the other side and I let them jump the gun so there wouldn't be any excuse but during the race i was in 4th and getting ready to pass by both of them and one guy cut me off and was trying to roost me so i moved over and contine to get by him then at the top of comp hill I slowed down and then one of the guys pulled in front of me and jumped off his quad and the other guy pulled up, so I jumped off my shee and one guy got in my face and he took his helmet off and then he was like why you cutting me off , I said I didn't then he said you fucked with the wrong people, I said ok. Then he hit me with his helmet, but that was stupid because i left my helmet on after he hit me i grab him and threw him down on the sand and I jumped on top of him and got him in a head lock and started choking the shit out of him until he tapped out and his other buddy didn't know my pops was coming up the hill shortly after we started the race and my pops took care of the other guy. After I choked the shit out of this guy he was like this was a miss understanding, I was like damn right and the guy wanted to shake my hand and I was like it looks like you fucked with the wrong people! Hill shooting is suppose to be fun and chilled back if you can't take losing well this is the wrong sport because there is always someone faster, the only reason this guy wasn't hurt worse is 2 reasons one my pops was like just let him go and second chp was down at the bottom of the hill. after all this went down and it was over this guy wanted to race again, so I did and again I smoke him by like 4-5 quad lenghts and he had everything done to this quad except for it being a full drag 450. The only thing reallt done to my shee is a good port job!!!! My weekend was great except for that one little scrap I had to take care of! Well, I hope everyone else had a happy thanksgiving!!!!

My buddy and I took his off by putting an extension through the rods and then just stepped on the wrench really quick to jolt the bolt and loosen it. It didn't hurt his.

It has been a while since I've been there, but I have been there and the dunes don't really change just more people find out about them and it becomes more crowded! Polish you don't really know me, your just going off what greg says! What does it matter if I like dumont better? You know what, I'll go to glamis sometime after Christmas because I'm in the Navy and going to be gone after thanksgiving and come back sometime before christmas for a training exercise and see glamis again on a busy weekend and It will be crowded and crazy at least at all the cool spots! just like last time I went! I don't have a 4-5 gallon tank, and I remember Greg telling me he didn't know where he was at when he rode with you polish, he was wondering how you got you guys back to camp! Does it upset you guys that I perfer Dumont, plus the people I ride with my, pops and brother in law, and a couple more freinds all perfer Dumont also, so I'm not going to go to Glamis by myself even if I perfered glamis! I think the only person hitting a pipe is polish!

yeah camp out in the middle of nowhere!!!ok! Dumont is smaller and they have little dunes that I can run the kids over to. I also like knowing where I'm at dumont you can ride all the dunes with one tank of gas, glamis you can easily get lost and run out of gas!!! I'm not saying glamis isn't good , I just perfer Dumont and its further away, I live in san diego!

whatever you say man! I haven't rode with you, but you can ask Greg he was eatting my roost last time we both went to dumont!
