i would say go with a lime green the same color as those flames on the shock covers. that frame would definitely stand out then. plus it would tie in those shock covers.

i'm not going to start a new thread to ask this question since my question kind of goes along with this topic... is there a way to test a cdi? i have a couple of them that i got with the bunch of parts i just bought and i want to know if they are any good. the repair manual says that yamaha doesn't offer a tool to check the cdi. i would hate to get the bike all built and have it not work because the cdi is bad.

thanks for answering my question 06BaNsHeE. i was just curious because i actually kind of like the blued look of the pipes my toomey on my blaster looked really nice but it started to surface rust (it was un-finished) so i painted it with high heat paint.

well since bansheedan took my idea of yellow on the black frame... i will say red fullbores on the black frame and white fullbores on the red frame.

i know this may be kind of a noob question but... is "blueing" pipes a bad thing??? as in... is it bad for your bike/pipes? or is it just not liked because it "looks bad"?

first up i have to say thank you Lee for all your hard work in getting the forums back. i was going stir crazy. not really liking the white background i hope it changes. and i can't access my messages either. not complaining though, atleast the forum is back up and running.

just a word of warning to anybody interested in buying this banshee. i had been offering this kid $1250 for this banshee for weeks then he disappears. not saying anything shady is going on but you never know. i hate to hear of people getting ripped off. and to the kid selling this banshee... thanks for disappearing, because since you did i have had to keep looking and have come across a MUCH better deal. so, i truly thank you.

alright lets see if this works... i'm sending pics of the right side case and the clutch cover let me know what you need. for the right side case i would like to get $40 plus shipping and for the clutch cover i would like to get $45 plus shipping. if you wan't both then i will let it go for $75 plus shipping. also if you need more or better pics of anything let me know and i can take some new pics.

what are the spindles off of? are they banshee spindles or blaster spindles? how far off are the holes? the 91 and newer banshee, warrior, raptor 660, 03 and newer blaster brake calipers are all the same as far as i know. maybe somebody sold you some bum crap.

what's with the spark plug at the bottom of the motor in the first couple of pics? that looks to be a pretty shoddy job. :yucky:

your biggest problem is NO TITLE. some people are ok with that because their state doesn't require it. it all depends on where and when you are selling it and how you list it. you could get lucky and find someone who "just wants a banshee BAD and they want it NOW". you could get rid of it to them for quite a bit. Unfortunately alot of people want it cheap and are willing to wait for the right opprotunity. like me for instance, i know there are banshee's out there that will go for $1000-1500 and i will wait until i come across one. i don't "need it now" so i have the time to wait. good luck on selling your shee and i hope you get what you want for it.

all yamaha sport ATV's have the same rear bolt pattern EXCEPT the blaster. blasters have a 4/100 rear bolt pattern. and the brake fluid leaking... like Bansh-eman said just get new copper washers. i don't know anything about the ATF thing.

actually i think the blaster pegs are forward and up. i think. i say that because if you look at the blaster pegs they are above the bolts, and the banshee pegs are behind the bolts. blaster banshee I I .. .. i may be wrong though because i only have a blaster right now.

and get rid of the timing advance if you run the bottle.

i have to disagree with you about the pancake compressors. they are too small to run anything bigger than an airbrush. i have one that my step-dad got me for my birthday. it is always running the motor i'm scared i'm going to blow the dang thing up everytime i use it. but hey i'm not complaining too much because i got it for free and it's all i've got.
