Rear plastcis after removing, cutting off rivots, filling in, cleaning, and taping decals: After 2 coats: After 3 coats of krylon fusion satin white & clear coat: Front cleaned & prepped: Fronts after 3 coats: Clear coating and removing tape tomorrow. It was 105 degrees today so I was moving slowly. haha Got a new radiator and stator cover on the way, new matching bar pad, skid plate, and some other goodies..

UPDATE: Been busy. Pulling the quad apart and cleaning/painting things as I go along. I know it won't last long but I don't have the time or funds to powder coat so I'll give it a shot. Doing my stock 2000 banshee as we speak. Just used some pb blaster overnight then popped them out with a big hammer and round piping. Hit through to the other side. I ordered the complete rear and front bearing/seal kit off ebay. Cheap and fast shipping...

This was one of the first "mods" i looked for when I got into banshees. I am really shocked that this hasn't been in production already for years. Seems like a no brainer with the quad having been built the same all those years. Count me in for a set either way.

X2. Or krylon fusion. Works great. Easy to touch up/redo entire quad in a few hours. WAYYY cheaper.

Nice find for 2k. It sounds like the gas/oil was junk and youve solved your problems. Id put on the crossover tube, put new spark plugs in it, clean the carbs, and let it rip!
