  1. Is this a guess and tell thread or are you asking what you need fixed? What are you waiting for? lol
  2. PM Sent. What application was this motor built for primarily (racing, sand, trail, mx, etc?) What carbs are you running, do they come with? What exhaust were you using? Thanks
  3. Welcome. Let's see your ride!
  4. Probably closer to 1500. Its 12 years old and everyone wants the efi 700 raptors... Good luck with sale though. Lots of 660s in wisconsin sitting for sale...
  5. I'm a week or 2 away from finishing my build. I'm going to be posting it up for sale before it gets any use on it, the hope is to get some funds for this quad! I too am surprised it hasn't sold! Crazy how the market is, lots of real nice 4k-5k bikes that sit on craigslist/ebay.
  6. Don't buy that BS! A 2 minute test ride won't do any damage. If the guy is serious about selling and wants a stack of hundreds he doesn't need to worry about the neighbors. If he still don't budge and you really want the quad, tell him you'll load it up and take it to the nearest big parking lot or back road to test it out. I would never buy a quad without at least going through the gears down the street and back.
  7. T6's are good for those who don't go big into modding. They seem to sell from $200-$300 depending on how clean/new they are.
  8. Just a friendly suggestion - Take some new pics that don't have a ton of oil/gas stains directly underneath where the quad is parked.
  9. If you pick one up I'd reccomend doing the following at a minimum... Drain gas, put in fresh batch. Clean air filter and air box Change spark plugs (Also buy a spare set or 2 and carry a socket/wrench with you while riding) never know if you'll foul a plug on a new bike... Check brakes Adjust chain Grease fittings BUY A CLYMERS MANUAL Take it on a nice ride, get the feel of it, then check your plugs, air filter, etc to make sure everything looks good. Not a bad idea to clean the carbs really good, take a note of what pilot and main jets it has.... Most of the banshees I see for sale have sat and have old gas in them and filthy filters with dirt, oil, and mud in the air box. Some people are idiots and don't take care of their machines!
  10. Look over the quad, see what might need attention and work. Check the bearings (play in the axle and wheels) look at the air filter, check underneath the frame and the a-arms at weak point for damage, bends, etc. I would also do a compression test, pick up a tester if you don't have one. Good investment... My state doesn't even give titles for ATV's. Everyone goes by state registration and bill of sale. I guess it depends on what state you live in. It's important for resale to some, but not necessary for others. Call your local DNR to see what you all need in order to register the quad. If you can get the vin number do a quick check of it on motoverse. From there you can find sites to run a history and theft check on the quad if you are skeptical of a deal. Good luck.
  11. Id go for the 2005 since hes asking 2k. See how firm price is. The special edition looks nice and clean if you could get it for 2500 id go for it.
  12. My rear axle bearings came from bossbearing.com (just in case you need to call someone) Number is 1-888-400-2677 The package says Ticket # 7764 AC Y-ATV-RR-1000 2F1 *Fits additional models* Hope that helps!

  14. Payment sent for Wheels and Tires- $175 FMF Fatties and Powercore 2's- $125 Thanks! Tommy
  15. Never got a reply after work friday haha im still interested let me know!!!
  16. Front left wheel looks screwed up or out of adjustment. Maybe it's the angle but something don't look right to me.
  17. Okay the last few days has been real grunt work on this machine. Cleaning misc parts. Biggest task done was removing tors completely, putting die-electric grease on ALL connections, and re-wrapping all major wiring in new electrical tape. Then went to town on stock exhaust for cleaning, prepping, and painting. Well worth the effort. Re-positioned the quad and cleaned the floor and layed new cardboard. I went to town on the frame prepping it for primer and paint (hopefully tomorrow...) Lastly, started covering the few things (front brakes, motor, and some electrical) that i'm going to be leaving on the frame while I paint it. Remember I'm not building a garage queen, show bike, or bike that will win enter any races haha. Gonna give the stock exhaust some seat time before I move onto performance mods. I guess i'm one of the few people who still enjoys the power and ride of a "stock" banshee. Updated pics as of Saturday, July 14th Muffler and mid pipe done Exhaust Header done CDI cleaned & new electrical tape Quad moved & garage organized/cleaned Parts pile is still growing! Prepping for primer & paint
  18. PM sent on a-arms. How are the ball joints and shape of the arms? What year are they off of? thanks
  19. Man this thing is sweet. Bump for a sweet quad. Just out of curiosity, what would need to be changed for this quad to run on 93 octane/pump gas and how much would performance change? Good luck with sale!
  20. Chucky is back with a new build. Can-am outlander 1000cc turbo'd. Running on dirt, sand, and asphalt. Just a heads up. Very well built quad. Not sure if the person racing in the banshee is on these forums?
