  1. Side by side of before and after.
  2. Finished the build today. Quad started right up in 2 kicks after rolling it out of the garage. Need to do a little fine tuning with the new tors delete. Pretty happy with my new look...
  3. Ah yes. Didn't see page 2. I like this look.
  4. Thanks man, appreciate it. This has been a great experience so far. This is my 7th banshee and I've never worked on one of them like this one. The floor is new this year. Did the kit from Sherwin Williams (Shield Crete) with the top clear coat finish. I prepped the crap out of the floor. It was pretty bad before. I also did the trim and walls while I had the garage clear. It's amazing how much of a difference the floor and fresh paint makes. I get tons of compliments. You really have to prep the floor. I did a floor cleaner/etcher/degreaser like 4 or 5 times with scrubbing after soaking, I then powerwashed the floors to rinse the cleaner away. It was a good 2 week project with all the stuff I had to move in and out. It helped that I had a enclosed trailer and basement to put all the stuff in. In total it cost me about $400 in supplies but I had a nice $300 2700 psi pressure washer already.. I did get a professional quote to get the floor done and it was right around $2k. Said no thanks Here's before and after...
  5. fresh looking drips.... For that much money you need to get some nice new pics up. Don't be lazy bro
  6. Yeah you're bikes are very similar looking if you do a quick glance. PM sent on this quad. I'm in Wisconsin, maybe we can work something out.
  7. July 26th update. Assembly has begun! Still a few parts to touch up and finish but I couldn't resist getting it going! Really thankful I have a clymers manual. Some of the suspension and linkage would be tricky without detailed write up and pictures....
  8. Update as of July 23rd. Been doing lot's of little misc things. Replacing things here and there, painting things here and there. Today I finally got the frame painted! I also stored the GTO back at my dad's house and got the garage re-arranged and ready for full assembly. I also bought some parts for my winter (banshee) build (Wheels/tires & full FMF exhaust). Frame fully prepped and ready for primer 2 Coats of Primer 2 Coats of metallic silver. Pretty much the "stock" frame color. Redid front headlights, shocks, airbox, a-arms, & brake/sprocket rotors Rearranged garage and parts No more crowded space to work in Few more days of finishing odds and ends and it's ready for full assembly!
  9. Looking for the exhaust shield and mounting screws for a stock banshee (left side) exhaust pipe. Send me a p.m. or text 262-620-1846 Price shipped to 53185. or Can trade for a modified stock stator cover.... Had sprocket guard area shaved for quick access. Hopefully not everyone through them out, haha.
  10. Interested in shocks and tires. Where in wi are you located? What is the measurement on the shocks? Thanks.
  11. Take the carbs off and tear them apart. Clean everything inside and outside of them. Get some carb/choke cleaner. Make sure you take out the main jet and clean it through. Make sure everything connected to the carbs is secure and not torn. Clean your airfilter under your seat really good. You can spray some carb cleaner spray on the boots and rubber connected to the carbs when you have it running. Check for your leaks this way.If you see it bubbling/spraying when moist you'll find your leak if it's in the rubber.... Put some new BR8ES or B8ES spark plugs in it. DO the simple/cheap things first to trouble shoot. I would also highly recommend putting new fresh gas in it. 93 octane with a 32:1 mix of good 2 stroke oil. Good luck
  12. WOW. In case you missed the price drop, $4500 takes it. That's a smoking deal! Good luck with sale.
  13. 2004 YFZ 450 in great shape. Has New tires, brand new EVO R full exhaust, and AC Racing Pro Peg Nerf bars. Selling to finish my Banshee build and/or looking for a ds 450 xxc. Starts right up, no issues with quad, Very reliable. Has small tear in seat which has tape over it. This quad also has a perfect jet kit in it installed by dealer. It pulls hard and sounds amazing. I'll post a video in a few days if it doesn't sell locally. I have Wisconsin registration papers in hand. Wi does not give titles for off road vehicles. Will sell for $2450 as is or for $2,000 with stock exhaust/foot pegs/wheels/tires. Call/text 262-620-1846 or PM if interested. Located on the border of Wisconsin/Illinois. Can meet or help with delivery if deposit is received. I'm only interested in trade if you have a 2010-2012 DS 450 XXC. Thanks.
  14. Wow that was a really bad Idea if you paid $1350 for those plastics. That quad isn't worth more than 2k in this market, sorry to be the bearer of bad news...
  15. I believe it's close to the metallic aluminum stuff that Rust-o-leum makes. Just did my frame.... Thought it was close to stock. You looking to do a touch up or a whole frame?
  16. Never heard back from you on the bumper? Shipped to 53185?
  17. That's a show bike if I ever seen one. Nice job on the build, wow. That would make a great show piece on the floor at a large dealership. Good luck with sale. I think you'll be disappointed with the values nice bikes like that are going for.... You should see about parting it out if someone will commit to the big components. What exactly were you building it for? Hard to tell if it is a bike set up for a specific terrain.
  18. CAN YOU NOT READ THE POST ABOVE YOURS!? The bike is parted out. It is NOT available. The wheels/tires and exhaust are sitting in my garage so I can 100% verify this.
  19. He's in Michigan. Just like the posting says
  20. Nice bike and good luck with sale. Here is the banshee everyone really wants.... http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=156420&st=0
