the mods are in my sig. below. This weekend went to dumont and my bike ran prettty well. But it wouldn't let me take off in second gear. gearing now is 14/41 tires are 22 in 8 paddle haulers on 8 inch rim. I feel it could of been faster if i could of got 2nd gear launches to work. BUt by no means was my bike slow. it just seemed to give people a little advantage over me. I believe LC performance was out there and those bike were retarded fast up banshee hill in the 80's.

so 3's or better than 2's. what increase do u get

Sorry guys Im impatient, I tried to use the search and it kept giving me an error. Are V force reeds worth buying? What kinda of performance gain if any do you get? Which or better v force 2 or 3? Any help would be great.

My stock stroke dune port smashes on 4mm all day long. Ive even taken r1 streetbike powered bikes down. Beaten up on some cubs to. It all in the tuning. stay on top of your bike and kevin will show you how to do it, you could out run big bore, stocked out bikes that are't tuned perfectly. Its all a big equation. best thing to do is talk to kevin. Dude has all the knowledge and patience to go over everything with you. Hjr all the way. :biggrin:

Custom Pipes Inc. 3908 West Willow Creek Road Morgan Utah 84050 801-829-5877 You could have called them directly for the pipes. Ive been know to get sets from them for $300. Ask them for some pipes they refurbished or rebuilt. All my sets i got from them were perfect.

Ive dealt with cpi directly and if you tell them your situation they'll work with you. I had small bore and big bore pipes from them a loved them. Told them i decided to go to a different motor and i needed another set of small bores. I sent them back a set of used big bore ones i used for about a year. They turned around a set me a new set of small bore for free all i had to do was pay shipping. How much did you pay for them?

have Hjr or FAST drag port it. Get some 35mm keihins, shearers or cpi's, custom domes for coolhead and run alky, and plenty of timing. That set up tunened right, will give many banshee's bad dreams. I haven't ran alky yet but i plan to in a couple of weeks. I have a hjr dune port and i give many cubs and stroked out stockers problems. 450 aren't even on the same hill it seems like. Give one of those builders a call and you wont regret it.

dont mess with the t-rex cylinder. If you do you want to be running 10mill stroker crank. otherwise just do yourself a favor and run a cub. People can make stock ported cylinders run harder than the t-rex i know from experience. oh yeah at least some 35mm air strykers for the t-rex set up.

I agree motul 800 is great. used it for years now and i swear by it. always wanted to try klotz supertechniplate just because of the smell. 40 or 50 to 1

I wondering the same thing. How long till it goes bad? I heard your never supposed to leave it on the ground though. the people where i get my vp they always say keep it off he ground. also how long is it good if it has been opened?

I cant wait. the cool down in vegas is starting. been in the low 90's lately. red rock area has been in the 80's.

dont bother with that kit. I had one. at least were i lived it was hard to find people to work on it. The parts can get expensive if you have to replace them. example pistons. I had traded it and got some stock cylinders. herr juggs ported them and they ran better than the t-rex kit i had. I heard a couple builders like the t-rex but you want to have one thats going to be over 500cc. thats just what i heard. The company that invented the t-rex cylinder is dasa team racers edge. Sales must have slowed down for that kit because they dont even advertise that kit on the website anymore the last time i checked. There are a few people on her that have that kit. pm trex banshee on here he'll give you some info. its just older technology. Just my opinion

I've had Dg bullet, yosh, and trinity. To be honest with you I like the sound of the trinity stage IV exhaust. I raced my buddy and the same shit was done to the bikes except for exhaust. He had fmf i had trinity and it seemed like my bike was alot faster. The trinity seemed to pull harder. He is 170 and im 220. And i would beat him everytime. But when i bought my yosh carbon fiber, i only had it two weeks before the bike was stolen so i only rode it once. maybe it needed to be jetted better.I beleive trinity is having a sale on their full exhaust system. And dont just do a slip on.

I was wondering what gearing people are running at dumont or glamis up china wall or banshee hill? My mods are in my sig. and I was wondering what gearing i should run? right now im at 13/41. also for info on your guys bikes i would like to know your gearing and your mods.

kevin does great work. He ported my shee also and its rips. I like his work so much im going to keep the bike he just ported for me and im going to probably get another one and have him port a cub for me. His work is top notch and very reliable. thanks again kevin. also congrats on your bike.

I was wondering whats the diameter of the o-rings that go on the exhaust flange? It seems like my rights exhaust is spewing out a little oil were the header pipe meets the motor. I was going to get one from the autoparts store and also put some hight temp rtv on tight get a nice seal. When i call the steelership they dont know the size.

as long as I'm not working overtime i'll be there. The job im working on is on 6 10's. But we should be on a new job by then.
