while the subject come up i wonder what everyone thinks of lowering the bike with solid suspension in the front, low enough to where the a arms are level...or strapping the front end down....the stock shocks adjust some, and i strap the front end down more and it helps alot....have heard of solid front suspension to get it where u want but never have tried it

i wouldnt say be topped out when you cross the line because your max torque is way before topped out, you need to find where ur max torque is and gear it that way, cross the line pulling, because when you just top it out your not gaining much other than just abusing ur shee.

if its spitting out the overflow its either radiator or water pump but yeah check and see if the water is moving but dont run the bike like that, for one if the pump bearings are bad then it can eat the inside of the side case where it goes out (had it happen before) and also you can warp you head from it getting too hot (had it happen at same time) and i had to replace the whole water pump assy. which was like 100 bucks for a tiny plastic piece and a bearing and a few seals...

i have a milled .30 head....i want to run pump gas still and want it to look stock, so should i stick with my head or buy an aftermarket....but if aftermarket what head looks stock, right now my motor is painted red and the head is painted red

i need both outerwears for my twin k&n clamp ons...anyone got em?
-
yeah t5's for sure, dont forget to rejet, i got pro curcuits, they are priced between both of those and i love them
-
i want to buy a set of blue plastics that are pretty much flawless for my 2000 shee
-
ive had fmf fattys before and they didnt look the best so i bought pro curcuits and it made a very noticable difference, so yes i have had them before, just wondering if anyone else has noticed a difference in performance

around here we race 300ft drags in sand, got 22in 4snows....changed my front sprocket to a 13 and it just rips....takes off in 2nd and hard, i lose about a bike length when i take off in first....change ur front to a 13 to me its a little easier and less time consuming
-
yeah i made it sound like they are the worst thing to buy for a banshee but i agree with some of you....they are cheaper....my bike has pro curcuits, my buddies has t5s....i like the way the t5's sound over mine and looks but my bike out performs rather easily with almost the same stuff done to it....but back to fmf before i'd buy a fmf pipe i'd buy a polaris.
-
i dont care what anyone says, fmf is just selling the name. you can buy way better exhaust for cheaper...

SOS pad man, i swear by them, anything polished aluminum....scrub it real good with this and then let it dry real good, then rub some mothers metal polish on it and buff it real good, LIKE A MIRROR. sos wont scratch it either

next door neighbor has a ds 650....always told everyone it has alba exhaust, jetted, filtered, and ron woods box. we race sand out here and he runs otsu's and he can flat ride a bike. this guy gives me the hardest run ever for a stock bike or considered stock....if i dont ride the bike perfectly this guy will hand me my ass no problem. Later i found out (we have the same mechanic) that the bike is ported and polished....i get him by about 3 bikes now i got my 4snows and shaved head...

i dont take my shee through any water hardly, most its been through is about 2 inches so im not worrying about all that. i bought 300 320 and 340 jets guess i'll start with a 300 and ride it a bit and check plugs til its right -
the bigger stroke crank wont make that much of a difference, not 3 lengths, u definately need to cut your front fenders off that drags you down horribly...
-
i'll tell you what, try otzu's on the rear, you wouldnt believe the traction on ANYTHING..they dont last long but man do they hook for an all around tire
-
thinking about getting my bike full drag ported, want to know how much horsepower it will gain, right now its 60hp. and also how much it costs to get it fully drag ported. i have heard that it will put my bike well into the 70's

no idea, i thought it would run lean when i did all the stuff to my bike (pipes and whatnot) and bought 260's and it ran a tad rich so stepped down to 240 and it run perfect.... -
thats what i have been running and have gears for them but just came across these straight cuts and they hook really hard, a little easier to take off in second with the straights but the 4 snows just kick it all the way down the track....just wondering which would perform better in a 300 ft drag
-
i think nerf bars period are a waste and make shee's look dog ass ugly, just learn to keep your feet out of the damn way
-
i have a set of straight cut paddles and a set of 22in 4 snows, assuming i geared for each tire, what tire would be best in 300ft drag racing, not floury sand but yet now soaked sand, and the straight cut paddles and sand devils...
