  4. i love how everyone thinks they could get a bike like that for 10k or so, the motor alone will cost that much to build, much less the paint and fraes and all the other goodies.

  11. Bump... ok to be more specific I have decided that i want to run some 10x4 spindle mount wheels (much fit stock spindles) with 21x7x10 smooth buff tires. let me know if you have some for sale!!!
  12. hum that is interesting, i have always heard backwards of that, thatbecause you had too much fule it almost acted like it would pool on the piston crown and cause the buildup. and running lean will casue the motor to run hotter which inturn burns off carbon deposits. that ste has alot of good info. I still wonder which is correct, i am by no means a mechanical engineer. just going off of being around and racing small motors for years.
  13. what is your mixture?
  14. over prolonged periods your going to get carbon buildup regaurdless of if your jetted spot on or not just for the simple fact that your running a premix. But if you have an excess amount of carbon built up over a short time span it's becasue your running rich.
  15. damn dave you snatched those things up fast
  16. buy the correct tool to hold the cluch. then it will come off with a 32mm socket and 1/2 in drive ratchet tool
  17. bump i'd like to find a code too. looking at buying something
  18. you want to warm the bike up on old plug, then swap them out, to do a plug chop you need ot get to an area that you can get to 5th or 6th gear pinned for like 5 secs. once you get all the way up there kill the motor and come to a stop. pull the plugs out and replace them with your old ones, ride back to camp or house or what ever, take a hack saw and cut the threads off so the porciline is showing, you want a tan ring about 2mm thick that looks like the color of a paper sack. if its less your too lean if its more your too rich.
  19. no one can say for sure, your best bet is to just do a plug chop. what jets are in there right now? oph and stop posting the same thing in 2 or 3 threads, onew is enough.
  20. it looks like +2 to me. you can trace the case halfs over from the right and see its not lined up with the 4 marker .....
  21. A teacher in Elmira, New York asked her 6th grade class how many of them were Obama fans. Not really knowing what an Obama fan is, but wanting to be liked by the teacher, all the kids raised their hands except for Little Johnny. The teacher asked Little Johnny why he has decided to be different...again. Little Johnny said, "Because I'm not an Obama fan." The teacher asked, "Why aren't you an Obama fan?" Johnny said, "Because I'm a Republican." The teacher asked him why he's a Republican. Little Johnny answered, "Well, my Mom's a Republican and my Dad's a Republican, so I'm a Republican." Annoyed by this answer, the teacher asked, "If your mom was a moron and your dad was an idiot, what would that make you?" With a big smile, Little Johnny replied, "That would make me an Obama fan."
  22. i havent heard of too many guys that actualyl follow through with mdding the yfz frame to fit the motor, but it would make alot more sense to us that frame for desert racing for sure! the geometry of the 450 is much better then the banshee frame.
  23. no just use oem keys. you line the number of timing up with the case halfs and tighten it down.
