I love the K&N's on the Banshee but hated it on the Blaster. A piped Blaster breaths alot better with the Uni, rip the lid off & drop a 300 jet in the carb.. Should be close!

Whats your jetting? What do the plugs look like? I run a little rich @ 32:1, at times I run it @ 40:1 without probs!

Even stock setups are known for that bearing to weld. Might as well install one while you're in there! Also makes adjusting a snap!

I've never used them & would suggest sticking to Wiseco Prolites. A member over on E2S had a bad experience where the pistons cracked from the bottom up. Yes it was the correct size for bore on a trail bike. I wouldn't risk it!

Doesn't sound safe to me but that's my opinion! Give it a shot and find out. I would maybe even throw a rod thru the existing arm then apply the oversized tubing!

Where abouts are you, you might have a shop close by! Or I might be able to look at it myself! There's Yamaha Dealers everywhere out here. Walk in and grab the jets for a few bux! Banshee's love to breath, rip that airbox lid off & throw a K&N Filter in there! You'll need more fuel along with that. The 300's sound close & could be a starting point, definately raise the needle clip [try 3rd clip] & try the a/f screw at 2 turns out. If the pipes ping you're lean & require bigger jets, i dought it it though! So Cal Represent!! :biggrin:

I ran the dunes on stock gearing with just t5's & a filter, rode fine on 21's. Those 21's will feel alot better as you trick the motor!

I've tried both tires and both work great, I have no complaints! I've also tried the K&N Filter and adapter plate, worked fine as well. Now I just run bolt on air pods!

What bore you at! There's a piston kit in the sale forum for $120! I'd go thru the forums first and search for parts before buying all new in one shot!!

Nice kill!!! What's done to your Shee? And the yfz has anchor rims, those things are too heavy, they belong on Rhino's! I've never been impressed with R1 R6 powered quads. I think they haul the mail on asphalt with a wheeli bar but not for offroading. See them get smoked by stroked Banshees at the dunes all the time!!! Tell him he's buying the wrong toy!! lol!!!!!
