Yup! Those pipes are help that powerband kick in and that's the awesome thing about the Banshee! PIpes might look ugly but they do the job right?? My pipes looked like that too! Get a wire wheel and knock that junk off it & go with a ceramic coating. Good deal for $900!!!! Welcome to the headquarters!!

I would modify those skid mount tabs to lower that skid!

I'm looking at a mint 2001 right now for 2 G's! YOu should be paying less out there.. But sometimes money doesn't matter if the machine is good and you like the bike! First things first, check compression and bore to see what kind of like that top end has left in it. Definately take it for a spin! Stand it up and inspect the frame around the welds too! I would still offer $1500!

I'd take it all appart and give it a good carb cleaner wash down! HOw old are those carbs?? As mentioned, might be that valve.. Rebuild kits are not expensive and easy to install, I'd go with one of those for sure! While bike is running and carbs spitting gas, tap the bowls with the backside of a screwdriver, that usually free's them up!

Came out great! Make sure you throw a sealer on it so it lasts longer!

I say pull the clutch cover off and inspect it all! This would be a good time to order that pancake bearing. Bearing welding can happen if going high speed and pulling that lever in long enough. How fast were you going?

I pulled up twice at the drags, with Banshee in the sig.. We were out in the dunes most of the time. There was a bunch of nice stuff out there & I have a few pics & vids. Sandshots trailer setup was badass, fit all kinds of stuff under the quads.

Also, I'm selling some 34mm to Stock Boss Billet intakes, only two rides on them & selling them. Let me know if any of you boys are interested!

120 sounds right for your elevation! it prob be perfect at sea level. I would get that stock head milled and bump up the compression!

And I hate to say this, but Alba's electrical guy does some good work.. I got one if his rewired stators and Shee's been running fully charged, better than stock! I had a few probs a while a go, popped that new stator in there and haven't had a prob since. Props to Alba, just this once.. I hate their customer service.

What's the scoop on the +4 Swinger?? Rounhouse style, w/carrier, brand, pc'd??

I really don't see it serving a purpose on a Banshee, I don't believe there's a single explanation other than it's BS! Trinity doesn't a make a 4 plug coil do they? Hey Will, call your boy over there see what he says?? :shrug:
