  1. I have both and makes life easier on the trails.
  2. You wanna part with the hiem rod ends only?
  3. Cool build! I wonder how it's geared up, stock would just be whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!! smokin those baby slicks. I bet I can make one of those for less. Hell no, not paying almost 6g's for something like that. I rather buy a truck or build more bikes!
  4. Sounds good, post that baby up! 2 posts in 1 year is unheard of ha haaa!!! I ride that Blak Shee in my sig, have a buncha things on her and Shee likes it
  5. What air filter you running? Airbox in place, with lide, vents? Sounds like it needs to breath! I run the T5's on tight trails too. No biggie just means give it more gas to keep the wheels spinning!
  6. I didn't read the whole thread.. If you need, I have an uppper carb body for some bux. I'll even tap and thread it!
  7. Shift Pro & a modified Shift Star are a good team for Banshee shifting! I did both and makes life easier. If you lift the banshee, turn the wheels and shift gears you'll see if Shift Shaft is reaching the Shift Star and pulling it to the next gear! Clutch adjustment is easy too, I think I'm pulling my cover off this weekend, if so I'll post up some pix for you!
  8. They look like Boss intakes, call them and order, they're in Cali.
  9. Not a prob ha haa! Order yourself that Clymer Manual, good reads in there!
  10. Sick colors, I like that yellow & black! Rip the airbox lid off and let it breath and definately get some tires. What elevation are you at? You might be able to run smaller dones for more compression. Remember those are 450's you're racing. I beat them and they beat me back. It's going to be tough racing! Good luck & bring home the trophy!!
  11. Site sponsor RJATV has those in stock!
  12. Yamaha Dealers & Cycle Gear!
  13. Your front end is supposed to be wider than the rear. But Durable is a good axle, I run the G Force!
  14. Remember I fried mine at Glamis early this year hollisatp? A friend hooked me up with an Alba rewind & works perfect! They can build it to run whatever juice you want!! I think the fee is $150 with core exchange. I have the tech's name and phone # so you don't have to deal with Alba's bs customer service!
  15. Remove everything in the way to access the top end. Tank, pipes, plastic, carbs, reeds. 10 nuts hold the head in place, loosen them up a bit at a time in their numbered order & remove along with the gasket. 4 nuts hold each cylinder down, loosen a bit at a time as well and remove. So off comes cylinders. You'll see the rods holding up the pistons. Remove the two circlips on each piston, pushe\ the wristpins out and out come the pistons. A bearing sits in the rod, remove it and you're done with the removal. Reverse the process to assemble but torque all those nuts in incriments of 5lbs up to 20lbs.. I actually give it another squeeze after 20 and another squeeze after breakin. Now get to wrenchin and go ride  It's an easy process! Here's my daughter helping me rebuild her Blaster & having fun with it!
  16. I'm running T5's on a ported motor with the usual bolt ons. It kicks ass & it's friggin fast! No complaints & I ride trails/dunes. I have a pairt of Fatties on the way just to try it out! Riding next weekend, I'll report back!
  17. SOLD!!!!!! To meeee!!!!! thank you!!!
  18. ASR is reputable for crap! There's been tons of complaints about there on HQ thru out the years. JD makses good stuff, a friend bought them at the Sand Show too and no pros till this day. I've never heard complaints bout JD either. I run neither one, been rockin the Quicksands for years without probs. The powdercoat is still on there like it was new. I've even skated over big rocks and the pc held up!!
  19. 2 Strokes are an easy fix. As said, get that manual & some tools. Get in there and wrench it up, if you have a problem post it up and some one will help you fix it!
  20. Who's your coater? I want to call him!
