We have a nitrous kit we tried a few times on asphalt. We had a well tuned 443cc cub on race gas. We were testing it out of town & everyone wanted to see what it was going to do. We laid down a series of baseline motor runs. Then we decided to use the nitrous, with only the 20hp setting. We lost ET on every pass using nitrous compared to the motor runs. Everyone was puzzled & thought we didn't spray or it wasn't working. I knew it was working because we picked up 2-3 mph over our baseline passes, but lost ET due to wheel spin. That's the fallacy with nitrous, most think you become an instant star with it alone. Just like everything else, the whole combination need to be tuned to work together.

Should be another 2-3 weeks & I'll be back to work. I will get back to my normal life of not being on line 2/3 as much. I have a few more episodes that the majority should relate to. The LIL STVN one was just because he's LIL! I have plans to do one that makes fun of myself. It should be good for most who knows me.

We do use bolt on weights on all our drag vehicles, including the quad. 5 lbs. bolted up will help, but other things need to be done also. See below. Most lock-ups are locked around 30' depending on numerous factors & set-ups. It has been mentioned already about taking weight off the arms. We work with this & it's a very fine line, but this is what needs to soften up the shift points. As you eluded to on the 3-4 shift. Good luck on doing this! IMO, this is for experienced clutch tuner's. I don't want to discourage you, but you better be willing to replace clutches.

OK, this is episode 2 & most of it's based off the BansheeHQ Official Live Thread page 442 & 443 with LIL STVN & I. Remember, have fun with it & if you don't like it. Well, I just don't give a fuck! http://www.xtranormal.com/watch/14515349/lil-stvn

Cheap young fuck, seems like you harassed this old man for being cheap. Shoes on the other foot now, huh! That shit is hard to produce anyway, a royal pain.
-
Hee..hee..hee it's being published right now. It takes some time on this no budget shit. It's not the one I wanted to be next, but sometimes you have to adapt to the situation.

Wow, I must thank Kim at K&T. He pulled a hat trick on getting our crank fixed. Two weeks to the day, today the crank is done. It's being shipped & should get it Tues or Wed next week.

The HMIC (LocoHomo) is a cheap Bastard & has my studio on a limited budget $$$00000000! I don't have much to work with, but I'm still trying to be creative. Something new should be coming out this weekend.

I'm running into technical difficulties, but making headway. Working on 2 or 3 new episodes, it's tuff being a director/proprietor of the HQ Circus Studios!

I'm glad I have someone I don't know, using some of my things I preach or whatever you call it. 1st gear launches work very well on 300' sand/dirt when done right. I talked with phunt on the phone the other day for the 1st time. He has been following a few of my topics & we have done some PMs. I'm glad he chimed and provided some actual outside feedback of what can be done. Here's another member pulling excellent 60's, by following some basics. 1.3 something 60's is nothing to shake a stick at!

Hmmmm, better pick your words better. We change the ratio in the trans & so do other's. Might want to use most people don't.

Deadbeat, my quote was brought up in the other thread & it addresses some other safety items. We all have a choice on rider safety equipment, but most choose not too. There needs to be a standard set for all safety equipment & enforced.
-
I guess you can't comprehend your own shit spewed out of your cave boy mentality. You were the one talking only about the rider safety equipment. Other's including myself brought up other safety related areas that need to be addressed.

Stay tuned! I'm working on the next episodes of As The HQ Circus Turns. The next one is going to be a bigger hit, hopefully! LIL Steven your not off the hook yet, LOL!

A grade A moron is giving him too much credit! I've noticed the dirt/sand side of drag racing is lacking in a bunch of safety areas. The rider protection is part of it, but not all. The ATVs organizations need to take a harder look on what other successful motorsports are doing for safety. While you can't prevent all accidents from happening, there's always room for constant improvement of safety rules. NHRA & NASCAR does this very well along with other organizations. If you take the ignorant mentality of one. Rider protection is the only area for safety, then the next step if you cannot make the sport safer. You do away with the sport, LOL!; "you CANNOT without taking it away completely...." Crawl back into your cave & stay there Neanderthal. I will give an example that could/may of helped in this situation. Both NHRA & NASCAR have guidelines for track safety: like barrier construction, shut down lengths, lane specs & the list goes on. Next is age minimums, there needs to be standards set for speed/ET. Maybe this child was on a quad that was or wasn't appropriate for his age. NHRA has standards for their JR. Dragster classes for kids. Then there's is actually ATV safety standards that should be in place & checked at every race. I'll give an example: A guy was bragging about have a kill lanyard, but it was not even hooked up. Sounds kind of like some peoples brain on safety. They have one, but it's not hooked up! These are just a few areas & I'm sure Green will elaborate also.

Better watch who does the laughing. HQ ass monkeys coming in future episodes!

Here's a little cartoon starring the Head Douchebag in charge of the HQ Circus. Plus, I added one of his Crack Headed Do Nothing Staff to co-star with him. If this is well received, I will do continuations with other HQ Circus Ass Monkey's/Clown's. Have fun with it & if you don't like it. Well, I just don't give a fuck! http://www.xtranormal.com/watch/14482319/hq-circus

I found this pretty funny. Tedder is probably one of the best ATV clutch tuner's in the business. This is his first post in this thread & he's Peddling/Spamming his wares. LOL! All kidding aside, rest assured anything he sells is as described.

There's the pot calling the kettle black.

If it's with a solid strut it, it can be either way. With a shock it needs to be on the swingarm. We had the problem of what we call crab walking. It would happen under the highest loads from the starting line to about 330'. I think the critical point is the triangulated pivot tube as you brought up. Another spot the builder & I changed was the larger diameter bottom rails. The swingarm is a +14 & weighed 9 lbs. as shown. If I remember right there was no difference in weight from our previous +8 chromoly swingarm.
-
We designed this to help prevent the twisting we had before. We was unsure if it was going to work & had it built with a torque strut. It has worked so well, we don't use the torque strut anymore. There's a few key areas that may or may not be seen. That I feel makes this thing work very well.

Dynatec programmable CID box any good
SlowerThanYou replied to Haniel1993's topic in Product Reviews
You have it all figured out with the Dyna. I did not say or imply there was more secret stuff that could be done with the Dyna. This is what I said. "I have to top you just for fun & we actually do it. We use some add-ons to go along with our dyna also." I have posted what we use in other posts & explained some of the things that can be done. Some things are better controlled with time rather than rpm. I guess that could be taken as a secret; maybe or maybe not. -
Again, I would recommend the above quote. It will do you no good if you modify the frame & they will not let you run it. Torque strut is not needed if the swingarm is built right. Tires seems like a good fit, but I have my opinion on others. You will need more than 10 over swingarm if no extended frame. We have a +14 on our bike, it was about right with our 443 gas cub. It has not been track tested with our 643 DMX. Last recommendation, listen to people that have actually ran asphalt.

Wow, trying to be an arm chair asphalt drag racer & you're not even very good at it. Not that I needed to, but I did a quick check of the rulebook. There are a good many classes that require a stock frame & some others that can only have some mods done to them. The only thing you got right was funny car & top fuel dragster. Keep up the good work on being a stupid, dumb (to use your words) & ignorant arm chair drag racer.
