  1. Port job will make the most effect for you. I would not bore for power reasons. Stock crank trued/welded best bang for buck. You will be able to hang just fine provided your setup is dialed in. Drag race is another story.. You may consider shift star mod while it's apart.
  2. I agree, before you go any further, do a leak down test. You can do a search on how.
  3. Sounds like you have an air leak. You MUST do a leak down test if you wanna fix it. Could be seals or reed cages leaking. Do a search for leak down test. Mine used to do that before I finally took the forums advice. I repeat, leak down test.
  4. Hopefully someone has 2x of numbers 12&13 they could send my way. They want almost $20 online. I was hoping someone had extras lying around. I already have new seals and bearings. Anyone?
  5. Lol, ok I think I may do that. Thanks, I appreciate the suggestions. This is my first time doing this.
  6. Also selling grey Maier plastics 300 obo like new http://www.ebay.com/itm/Yamaha-Banshee-plastics-fenders-Maier-Grey-Silver-/321243913484?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4acba11d0c&vxp=mtr
  7. $150 free shipping Brand New AMR graphics kit. Fades to grey not Black
  8. The original plan was this.. I have the grey plasitcs and this graphics kit for sale if anyone is interested. Ive decided to go a different route.
  9. White plastics. I originally tried some grey ones. But white just looks so much better with the teal.
  10. Mine wont look as good as either one of your beautiful bikes. This project is because Im tired of mine sitting in a box rotting.
  11. No before pics sadly. I just decided to document the rebuild after staring at the pics on my phone. lol. It was stock blue plastics and grey frame. Fairly stock other than pipes and some porting.
  12. I guess its worth mentioning that the banshee has been taken apart for a couple years. I had to order a bolt kit. Boy did that make life easier. Except they don't tell you which bolts go where. No biggie. Come on UPS man, Im ready to get this thing on wheels.
  13. Went back and painted the A arms chrome. Swing arm too. Ordered new Headlight covers. Originals were toast.
  14. I've slowly been cleaning and painting parts and then putting them on. I had to tap most of the holes to clean the threads but no problems. Cooling system done. New Bushings and end caps for the A-Arms 400ex shocks for the front. Poor Boy suspension drop. Bought a few used chrome pieces off fellow forum members. Thanks guys. Wiring, tail light, cdi, coil all done. New handle bars and grips. New steering bearing and seal. Still have to do brakes, seat cover and plastics next. Saving the engine for last. Just trying to focus on the rolling chassis for now. Waiting on new bearings, swing arm rebuild kit, and some other odds and ends..
  15. Painted the wheels to match. I always liked this look..
  16. My Banshee hasn't ran in awhile. Lately I've committed to bringing her back better than ever. Originally had Yammy Blue plastics and scratched up ugly ass silver frame. I sandblasted the frame and had it powder coated Candy Teal. I spent hours looking at bike on the forum here getting lots of good ideas. Here is the frame. Color looks better in person imo.
  17. I'm interested in several items.. $$$??? And it would help if u put each item on its own line with the price. Step 3 - profits
