    taking off in 2nd or third worked for me until I got paddles gecho's are only $35 & seam to be pretty strong I've been trail ridding W/ stumps roots ect. & I love them havent needed to take them off yet?

    I messed mine up good on my old '87 'had to grind the snap ring groove deeper & I think I put A smaller ID & OD ring on it . used A thin disc blade on my dremil. (dont know how long it lasted though it got stolen soon after)
