  2. if i'm reading this right ,your taking the 10 kicks to get enough fuel to start, (since there is no spark, its trapping A little each time) then you turn the ignition on & all the fuel ignites & it starts.. makes sence to me ,get A manuel & clean your carbs
  3. yes but it's not due to the 10" rim, you need to measure the hub stud to stud, or somebodys gonna sell you hubs that fit there 10" rims ( & they won't be lying) but they won't fit your rims... you need old style hubs not 10" hubs
  4. break that sucker out & buy those drag arms already :geek:
  5. thats one damn good looking expiriment!!!!
  6. my yama dealer said they are discontinueing it (going to new & better) we all know what that means, better stock up... hope it has good shelf life
  7. nice job...how much do you charge  I'm looking for the same thing, red flames on yellow plastics where are you at?
  8. I know it's probably not the cheepist way, but for my stocker I can do any mods to A stock carb so i'm looking into boring them, since i'm rumning out of bolt-ons ...does anybody have clearance spec's or any info that would help...I can get it done localy, just need the info the machienist will need... I assume you bore inlet & outlets & slide bores, then get larger slides???? Thanks Dave
  9. A buddy of mine gave A check to A friend & put "for sexual favors" witch isn't A big deal, except he knows alot of people at his bank personaly, & the check was obviously from A guy & they had fun w/ that

  12. we all know johns A stand up guy, but here's another for ya, AA++ Thanks John
  13. no but smoke does  your not in the 6.0 class either
  14. don't know where you bought it from but, if there are only three in your area & 1/2 of them are there, might want to make sure he isn't the one that did it last time ( if you think it was shotty mach. work)
  15. 6.0 is all A piped banshee runs ...makes for another class for the stockers to run in, except they get sandbagged :verymad:
  16. $10, boy that must be nice, its $30 around here!
  17. well, just did my clutch cover from an older eng, & there are definatly different qualities of paint over the years, it didn't do 1/2 as good on this paint
  18. wish we weren't in the same class we could swap parts to see what works for both of us ...I just bought carbs to bore, so hook A brotha up ( /w A machienist) I have some paddles on stock rims (or will fit on stock rims your choice) we can work a deal on...or you can buy pro wedges I got 2 sets of paddles we can both try if(or if not) you have prowedges to try too yeah, now you tell us, after I commited to more paddles (I know you didn't run at Ga., at that time but...) I'll still buy them though (I said I would) you ran alot better times them methy jr, I beat him & you walked me... I also put my cpi's on so we will test the cpi/stock bike theory (except different track so don't know how good of A comparison it will be) if I run better times I'll be happy ( dropped A few 10ths w/ pods so far) I wouldn't remove your brakes, but if you want to I have two sets of spindles that have the bracket cut off ( or made w/ out the brackets) that you can try if you want , I always thought it was silly to 2 oz. here 2 oz. there, until I started building my new set up , but i'm starting from scratch so might as well go light, if I gota buy it any way ( not the cheepest route though) I also have alot of aluminum tire combo,s, just say the word & i'll bring them for you to try (we should have enough time in test & tune to try all combo's except cpi's, but i'll tell you that  ps congrats on the diet ... boy, diet & quit smoking my hats of to you good job!!!
