no rev limiter (except when the p-brake is on) I was gonna say rich or to much tire, but if it does it in every gear ??...maybe somebody else will chime in? TORS are removed usually, throttle over ride system, when your throttle slides stick open & your not touching the throttle it kills the ignition for safety

yeah, the aftermarket (A-arms anyway not sure on j or D, but i'm sure they do) can be replaced ...even the '06 stock were throw aways

If you can clean it up, stay where your at... if not, only go as far as neeeded not worth the waste of future bores, you won't gain any noticeable HP

you have to pull the tops off of the carb remove the holder & move the clip up or down on the needle slots

yeah, thats what everybody does... didn't know if anybody did that while checking plugs to compare & how they did it. thanks

mine is 4*( don't know if they make A 2*), probably not your problem but you should bouble check it you go any higher

how do you guys check it... just ride around in lower rpm's (for how long? under what loads, on the pipe or off?) & check your plugs

7 on the plate & 4 on the key, or 3+4, 7 total

If you made it tighter it would get worse & possibly put more of A strain on the trans Making that louder also ( only if its gear or bearing noise ) but if your sure its a aluminum then its probably not one of those, unless its trashed (& you would know it) an easier way to pin point it is block it up & run it & listen near the chain rollers

your chain will make that kinda noise on A new bike, it will get quieter as it wears & & streaches... I would take the chain off & run it & see it it sounds better, You wont be able to put A load on it but if it still makes the noise you'll know its not the chain...as for the particals I would change it A lot & moniter the amount of shavings (depending on how loud it is & how much shavings & there sizes)

is A 2-5 A 3 speed or was that A typo ...I assume you go w/ 2-5 to have taller ratio's? (over 1-4)

I got back to the office the other day & there was an open box on my chair (w/ the throttle in it, thanks buy the way!!!) & I was like, oh shit, I hope there wasn't any suprises in there ...nobody has said anything so far, so I guess not :sweat:
