  4. GOOD thread how do you run dry on non-injected motors? would think it would run like dung ( if at all) w/o the buttom, you'd have to be so rich to run it dry to be correct on the button?

  7. Found out my machienist isn't a wiseco fan (pro-x). other than warming it up, does everybody just go by the clearaces wiseco says or have you guys (w/ experience in strictly drag motors) found something better to go w/ on clearances. Does no2, alky ect...make a difference either? Dave

V-6? 385 is low for super'd 350 They aren't, your old small block for sure ... the bolt on's seam endless...I wouldn't want to drive diive mine in the winter ( hell I don't even drive it, when its raining LOL) ..you'll have to decide that for yourself, they're fun, but at the end of the day, they're a toy NO rear leg room, low to the ground... ( if any of that matters ) just a few things to think about hey see what size tires are on the vett rims. I have a set to put on mine... been kicking around what size tire to run (19 & 20 " i think)

  14. impact screwdriver, or tap on the screwdriver to jar the screw loose, then turn it clockwise ( tighter, just enought to brake it free ) then take it out keep as much preasure on the screw as possible, use plyers on the handle for leverage if you need it.

  19. ha,ha, I knew something was up when you said you put in a thicker base gasket... practice practice slip that clutch & hold on... how does that port job do when your riding in the slow trails w/ your niece (was it)
  20. keep an eye on the bracket that bolts to the frame as well, I had two of them crack ( due to weight though, no need for salt down here :biggrin: )
  21. Mine had one on it when i got it (stock'ish), it held up good, but it was alot beefier than that one!
