Ready to fire up my new engine and I have an idea about what jetting I should start with, but would like some expert input from some of you on this forum. Thanks, I ride mostly in IL and MI. About 500-600 sea level. Here is my combo: Stock carbs with tors removed, no airbox, K&N clamp on filters Stock spec bottom end VF3 reeds Trinity stage 3, dune and trail port, 64.5 pistons Trinity IV head with 20cc domes Timing at +4 T5's pipes Stock boost bottle, also got a White Brothers one. Should I use it?? Or, are they BS NGK BR8ES gapped at 33 Run 93 octane gas all the time This is what I have so far. Main Jet 340, possibly step down to 330 if it bogs at top end, 6th gear? or needle adjustment? Pilot 30, maybe a 27.5?? Needle on 3rd notch from the top Air screw 2 turns out?? I plan on fine tuning it after a few breakin heat cycles and short low rpm rides. Anything I should be looking for? Thanks again

I'm putting my carbs back together after a good cleaning. Got a question regarding the slide/plunger part that the needle crews into and goes up/down. There is another whole next to the one that the needle passes through and is retained by the c-clip and a bracket that bolts down by to philips screws. That bracket has a notch in it and can go either over the hole next to the one the needle goes through, or cover it. Anyone know exactly how that bracket bolts down? Covering the whole, or leaving it open with the notch? Kind of makes sense leaving it open so when the slide goes down quickly, letting any trapped air to go up?? Thanks.

I am rebuilding/refreshing my top end and will need new rings and other parts for my Weisco Prolite's. I took it apart and the cylinders will only need a hone. They are Trinity Stage IV ported. Want to make sure everything seals correctly. I need everything besides the pistons. They are Prolite's 513M06450. They are in great shape. NEED: Rings 2539CD Pins S486 Retaining Clips CW16 Bearings for stock rods B1005 Bottom gasket kit Let me know what you got and price for each shipped to Burbank, IL 60459. Maybe someone has something laying around or could give me a package deal. Or, I might end up calling Vito's or someone, and get everything from them. Thanks

That's great. I will let you know. I want to run their stage IV ported cylinders on 93 and have to see if those would be too much compression. I'm running stock carbs w/box, no lid, v3's, t5's and +4 timing at 500-600 sea level. Thanks.

Looking for ported jugs with good/matching pistons. Something that I can just bolt on. Maybe needing a hone or new rings? Prefer not to bore, sleeve, etc. Want something done by a reputable performance shope, Trinity, R&B, Passion, etc.. Looking for something all around, trail, dune and some drag racing. Let me know what you got and how much. Also looking for a carb sync tool. Might end up getting one from FAST, but just seeing if someone is getting rid of one at a good price. Thanks,. Located in Chicago.

Looking to redo my T5's. The chrome is pitted and does not look well. They do not have any dents or other damage so I would like to salvage them. Happy with the performance also. And I want flat black-colored pipes. How can I get this off? Is taking is somwhere to get it sand blasted or media blasted my only option? Thanks

Don't know his name on here. However, I used him several times the past 3 years. Very nice guy, great work and quick turnaround. Let me know if you need his contact info. Thinking about sending my cylinders out to him in the next couple of weeks.

Frame project, need some input on reinforcement
BIGONTS replied to BIGONTS's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
This is not my frame. I wish. Random pic off the internet. In green are the places I think gussets might be needed. 9 X 2 for each side = 18. Any places going across? Also looking to redo the foot peg mounts. Any pics or recommendations? How thick should be gussets be? -
I got a frame for my winter project. Looks pretty straight. I will like to reinforce it with some gussets and make it stronger in other places like the foot pet mounts, tail, stem loop., etc... Then it will be powder coated. I know TPR makes a kit and I am considering it. I might make my own since I’m pretty handy and have a welder, etc… Does anyone have pics of what they did and recommendations on all the places that need to be strengthened? TPR’s kit has 17 pieces I believe??? I did do a search and didn't find much on here as far as pics go. Thanks
