BIGONTS

I got them used about 5-6 years ago. Don't see them around much. Best upgrade I EVER made to the bike. Can't get my friends off of it sometimes, the ones with stock susupensions. Even the ones with Elkas or Works like the Ohilins ride better. I blew both of the front one at the end of the season last year. Yes, both at once started leaking. Kind of surprised they lasted that long the thrashing I give them being 220lbs. These are totally servicable. Sent them off to the Quad City Quad Doctor Inc. and for $200 got a full rebuild/service and they are like new again. Ready for another 5+ years of thrashing.

Even though these were white to begin with, they were a PITA to prep. Only because someone painted them yellow and they sat outside in my yard for 2 years. Sandpaper or powerwashing would not get the yellow paint off. Had to use stripper for plastic bumper from O'Reilly's. If they weren't painted, I would just cleaned them up good with Simple Green and the red scuff pad, dry and clean with contact cleaner and paint. No primer necessary per Krylon's instructions. I was on the fence to paint these black with a similar scheme in yellow/green, Monster type theme, but considered the condition of these. If they chipped, it would really look like crap with the white underneath. Now, I probably won't be noticeable too much if they chip. Going to try to do black ones next.

Thanks, wanted to try something differrent from what I usually see on here, even though I dig most of them: traibal, flames, lines, etc.. Gonna try to get another set and paint another scheme with a black base. I'm hoping the clear will help a lil bit and I won't be taking these plastics on any trails.

Wanted to put some graphics on my boring blue and white plastics. I got these on clearance for $15. They are really good and thick with nice shiny clear and 3M quality. They did not come with anything for the large rear fender pieces. Might just cut them off or paint something on them. Should handle the trails, dirt and mud pretty well.

I had a set laying around that looked terrible and figured I try to paint them with the Krylon fusion paint that everyone is talking about. Painted them a simple gloss white to hide all the scratches and decided to paint some graphics to live'n them up a bit. All spray paint and some tape. Wanted to see how the front came out before I painted the rest. The colors are actually darker and looks a bit bright and rainbowish because it was really sunny out then taking the pictures. Will paint the rest now and throw some clear on them. I don't belive they will be that durable and figured I only throw them on when I go to the dunes.

Looking for a good condition blue tank cover and possibly radiator cover. Let me know what you got and how much shipped to Chicago. Thanks

These look great. Are they molded like the stock ones? Seen a few pics, do they need to be tied away from the exhaust pipes or can just lean on them without being damaged or discoloring? Thanks

Thanks, but I already have spacers on the front. Looking for a nicely polished rims with sand tires and hopefully a +2 offset so I can get rid of the spacers. TTT

Looking for a set of front polished rims to replace my stock beatup front rims. I know they are not expensive new, but checking if anyone has a set they are trying to get rid of. They can be either stock offset or +2. Prefer a polish finish and I can refinish them if need be. No dents, crack or leaks. Let me know what you got and how much shipped to Chicago. Thanks
