i know about that stuff.... yeh, i can do the whole clutch slip blow through corners, it was just the type of riding we were doing... or should i say... we were playing tag in the middle of a swamp....i could clean it out a lot, but i mean, the mud was so greasy, you couldnt control which way you went reguardless.... i mean, im putting new pistons in anyways, i was just wondering what the deal was.... my new setup: 4mil crank, 795 wiseco pistons, 33mm pwks... should be nice? i liked castor too.... but after seeing all the sludge on my pipe tips, and the dropping temps, i now run klotz supertechniplate... and i love it!

alright, so im debating to either get my jugs ported or put a 4mil stroker in... i know the port woould be cheaper but since ive been looking at my motor ripped apart, the case can be split with just a little more time and the stock crank pulled out... its not in bad shape, just looking for power... anyways if i would get my jugs ported, then decide to do the 4mil, jeff said the port timings would be off and id need a new port (probably from virgin jugs im thinking)... so if i did the 4mil stroker with no port, i could wait and port it after a bit and be all set?? heres the big question.... what all do i need with the 4mil crank? i know 795 pistons, and cut domes, but what else? like bearings, seals, what? mine isnt in bad shape so i was gonna sell it either on here or fleabay... sooo???

so im lean? shit.... i thought that meant rich? hmm... well then... i thought since i was lugging a lot through the woods last weekened that did it... and i mean ALOT... like way low 1st gear for a while because of the way we were riding... it was a mud bath... fun. anyways... my piston... lean you say? can someone give me somethign to read on piston wash? anyone wanna back up my lean condition?

it isnt in the side of the jug is it? threaded on the inside? hope not :: just checking, im sure you knew about the plugs there.... other than that, idk?

i got knarly XC's... they hook like crazy... however i went with the 22's and dropped a tooth up front because the trails im on are tight and chunky (needed groundclearance) but they do great in the mud even... and are 6ply... nothign but good words from me so far...

its carbon buildup.... that hard cruddy shit... is this what happens to castor927 when its setup to run a bit rich? .....it made my pipes are gross and with dropping temps i switched to klotz... hopefully it all cleans itself up

so carbon buildup is rich right??? is that the problem here? my exhaust port is also pretty cruddy looking.... im getting port work and i was wondering if im needing leaner jetting? F.A.S.T. MX port 33mm pwks' v3's thennnnnn hopefully a 4mm stroker..

current mods arent current for long. and it pulled my old gearing just fine, i just wanted a lot more hit in the woods so i went down teeth? and donnie, like i said, this isnt to run you into the ground, im just figuring out whats truth opposed to whats not.... being you are an amsoil dealer and probably wont say any other oil competes... and like so with everything else... im just double checkign because most of what you told me was the opposite of everything i have ever learned

well he posts on here, and i dont really know if i wanna mention his name... but wouldnt 87 ping and predetonate? REGUARDLESS of mixture or jetting? 87 detonates with lower compression... higher octane takes more compression to detonate if i remember right... and the stock compression would require higher octane to prevent plugs from frying and pistons from getting burnt... am i wrong here?

thought so... thanks guys... i just "agreed" with him because i hate trying to set people straight that think i dont know shit just because i dont have a shop... i just agree and play dumb to here all the shit... on another note... he completely shot down F.A.S.T. because he hasnt saw their bikes in videos.... hmmm.... wtf?

alright, so i was riding and my girlfriends dad had his buddy come out... he has a sled shop... he also has a shee... its got a mxport (home done) stock head, milled... fmf fatties, single 35mm and such, blah blah blah and runs amsoil oil with 87octane. yes, with a milled head. anyways. you know my mods from my sig... i also have a 13tooth front to go with my 22" rears to get my bottom back... my compression is at 152ish and im running 93oct with klotz supertechniplate... this guy is telling me this.... me "im thinking of getting a lightened flywheel and getting a mx port.." him " dont do that. if you get that lightened, its only for drag racing. ive saw people have their flywheels spider out and explode because they were lightened." me "oh." him "yeh, and i smelled the oil youre running... you running premium? that benoil in there is gonna blow your motor because in the high revs, its starving it of lubrication... you need to run amsoil... itll bog more, but last forever." me " ......" him " oh and that head you have, with that high compression, you need race gas. and id get rid of that head because it doesnt cool. it actually gets your bike hotter on a hot day. go back to stock and mill it. im running 87octane with mine." me " oh yeh? " ....im getting really annoyed now. him " yeh. lets race down the road... we race.. i cant launch for shit and he dusts me on the launch because he drags his bike... he toasts me but i started catching up but because hes got taller gears (15th front on 20" tires") he pulls a tiny bit on top... he said "see, your revs are too fast and you cant get it. we go from a 2nd gear roll... i hosed him. he said nothing... sorry for this rant. he pretty much shot down everything ive heard about mods. my g/f was inside and her and her brother said "his bike sounds like hell!" hahahaha someone please set me straight???? ::

the head and domes are direct bolt on... you take the stock head out and follow the directions... the noss head is just a 3 piece head so you can change domes (altering compression)... REALLLLLLY easy... everything i did was bolton and SIMPLE... im getting my flywheel lightned too so it revs faster....

the mods in my sig compliment those pipes very well... you will love the new bottom end... i am also looking for more power and people say getting cubs or the such (4mm stroker) will make trail riding a bit hard... ive been told to get a mx/trail port done... thats probably gonna happen at the end of the month......

i was browsing around over at cascade and saw this "Cheetah Cubs For A Stock Crank Includes~ Cub Cylinders, 2-Wiseco 68mm Piston Kits, 2-Stud Extenders, 4-Water Jacket Plugs, 1-Ported Base Gasket" ....would this be good for my bike? mods in sig... i want to be able to have a trail ready bike, but really rip in the openings... would a woods port from someone be better?
