Well I stand corrected,On both of mine I am unable to downshift without useing the clutch..Possibly because of the cut,Mine are 1-5 with N down so I'm assuming that is why.
You must still use the clutch to down shift on a dunable or you will bend the forks at minimum. The drums are mot cut to downshift without useing the clutch.
Yeah I cant see from the pics but look at everyone closely and I can tell that your basket and inner hub are worn pretty bad so it was time for a basket anyways.
Pull your clutch cover off and inspect all the teeth on the drive and driven gear.It will be obvious when you see the chip/broken tooth. It's not the end of the world when this happens and it is a easy fix just yeah it sucks when it happens.
On that note check your drive and driven gears.I have chiped a piece of gear tooth off and it sounds like a bad knock.I bet the piece of spring got inbetween the gears and chiped a tooth.
Yeah like you said not in the clymers but it was on my cd manual,I ran into lash issues a few years ago and was lucky enough to have it.
Glad I could help you out.
I would deffanently go 4mil stock cylinder.I have a 4mil cub and a 4mil stock cylinder and once you do the 4mil stock cyl you will be very happy with it and I would bet a dollar that you will end up building a whole nother shee to do a 4mil cub.
Something is still wrong with your compression #'s.With 18cc domes you should be more then 162 psi Unless your at 8000 ft above sea level.I run 18's in mine at 4500ft and have 185psi.
I got 12.5 into my 06 and that includes buying it off the showroom floor for 6k.I got 4200 into my 05 including the amount i paid for the shee.4mil stock cylinder I built for it.
Thats a big problem,One being a banshee piston has a 13 degree dome and a 68mm blaster piston has a 9 degree dome.My sugestion to you would be spend the money on a aftermarket head and buy the correct big bore 9 degree domes for it.
