  1. You could always up grade to straight cut gears with a higher gear ratio.
  2. Sounds good.
  3. There is no way I would skimp on the chain. If you get one off of ebay buy a good chain not a no name brank.
  4. I also had to grind on my foot peg so it wouldnt hit on the billit ring.
  5. I dont now if they can be resleeved. Send a pic to a couple resleeving comanys. Like LA Sleeve or Northwestern or Northern Sleeve Company ( cant remeber the exact name). Resleeving isnt an economical choice, but I did it. Bought a set of Patriot Racing 4mill Drag Ported cylinders that needed resleeved due to a cracked sleeve. I sent them back to Dan at Patriot Racing and had Big Bore sleeves installed. Fist bore is 66mm and last bore is 68mm. If your going to get them resleeved why not do a big bore sleeve and run just blaster pistons. Start out a 66mm. If you go any bigger than 66mm you need big bore domes for you cool head any way.
  6. I bent mine out a little and also adjusted it so it hangs down a little lower, so it isnt hitting on the bottom of the clutch cover.
  7. Nothing is better.
  8. I woudlnt even bother with a banshee. Is it a V twin Good luck getting that to fit in any type of quad frame. To do a motor swap right I would use a Raptor 660 Roller. The Frame opeainig is way bigger and allows for taller engines to be intalled with out choping the frame. 600 cc inline 4 cylinders are a squeeze to fit in the raptors frame. Bashee is not a good canditate for a motor swap. There is better machines out there that allow more engine room and handle better. josh
  9. Back into your hand, and it breaks your wrist. TM Designworks case saver would be punching a punching bag. Absorbs and dissapates the force.
  10. I would run the PWK 33's I run them on my Patriot Racing Drag Ported 4 mill stock cylinder motor at 2000 ft. They run great. Better throttle responce than my 34mmPJ's I use to have. For an Intake there is only one way to go. Boss Racing or White Kunckle. They are a one pice intake and have a crossover tube machined in. They also move the carbs up and back so the LH Float Bowl doenst hit on the clutch arm. So there is no external tube. They also use standard mikuni carb boots that can be bought from dennis kirk for 12-15 bucks a piece.
  11. I run RIS pipe conectors. RIS makes nice stuff. I am sure there shifter is great.
  12. Hay next time you chop the plugs instead of cutting down just cut all the way around the threads. That way you can completly see around the plug.
  13. www.jet-hot.com I had my raptors header done on my stainless steel sparks 6x. The head pipe did dull up by the front two primary tubes. It happend when it was bran new coated and I put it on my 720 stroker build for the first time firing up. The pilot circuit was lean and the header glowed with in 30 seonds of running. That is what faded it. A 2 stroke exhaust should look fine since there pipes dont really get as hot as a 4 stroke header. Copper would be a head turner if it matched the color scheme. I had the sterling color done.
  14. If you are going to be running stock ported cylinders I would run Keihin PWK33's. If your going with drag ported stock 4mill cylinders or a duner 421cub then I would go with PWK35's. I wouldn't run 38's or 39's unless I was strickly drag racing with a cub.
  15. That is why I have a patriot racing drag ported 4mill.
  16. stock and long rod crank is going to be the same. The long rod decreases the force on the piston skirts. Making a more reliable engine. 4mill long rod stroker is going to pull harder in the midrange. To take full advantage of the stroker you need to have the cylinders ported.
  17. 139 for a white knuckle racing intake . http://www.whiteknuckleracing.com/contents/en-us/d3.html
  18. There has been some guys scoring some boss racing intakes with the internal crossover off of e bay for 60-75 bucks.
  19. No HID lighs wont work with the banshee's stock wiring system. You have to float the ground on the stator, add a regulator/ rectifier, and a battery. HID's need dc.
  20. The TM is the only one to get. It rests against the cases for more suport. Plus the plastic will absorb force instead of transfer it to other parts. There stuff is top notch. I also have all the chain guid stuff. Rollers, front swing arm slide and rear chain guid. The rear guid also has some rollers instead of just the solid plastic.
  21. would it be posible for a ring to catch the lip of the intake ports since the bridge is gone?
  22. Take a pop can and turn it up side down. Should make a little bowl. Fill that up with fuel in question and set it on fire. I do that step twice. Gas buns clean and dry. There will be oil left in the bowl if it is mixed. If you cant tell just keep burning a little bit. That way the oil concentraion should build up so you will deffinatly know if it is mixed.
  23. Is the crank welded? Hot Rods told me that they only weld the pins on there 4mill long rod crank. So if it is a Stock Stroke Long Rod crank it shouldnt be welded. When I built my blaster piston 4 mill long rod engine I laid a regular dome on top of the cylinders and rolled the motor over. It would deffinatly lift the dome up. Blaster pistons are shorter but they have more of a flat piston head.
  24. Good Chrome isnt cheap. There is really only two options for good chrome. Buy them from www.cascadeinnovations.net or get them bare steel and have bk_banshee chrome them. If you get them bare hand have him chrome them dont put them on and run it. Other wise he has to clean the oil out and your chrome job just go more expensive. Those are about the only two places I would trust for good chrome. Other people will claim they have been show chromed but they obvesly arent if the chrome peals off. Here are my cascade cpi's.
