  1. Yea there really is 2 options. If best means awesome chrome then cascade is the place to get them. If best means cheap then shop around. PM frogger see what he can do. I know he has gotten some for members on here. Everyone is going to tell you that the pipes they sell are "Show Chrome" then in small print they will discribe slight peeling or bubbling of the chrome (If Used). Or if they are new then you might as well expect it to happen. I dont know how many sets of CPI's and Shearers being sold used on here described as Show Chrome. Then in the next sentence they are talking about a "Slight" or "Minor" peeling of their tripple show chrome peeling or bubling. If you want true flawless chrome cascade is the only way to go. My pipes show no signs of even blueing up by the flanges.
  2. The packing no only quiets it down but it also keeps exhaust gases from creating turbulance witch flows better. josh
  3. These were taken before I had them Resleeved.
  4. Hay thanks guy's I got a few from when I first got the cylinders. I can get some more. The cool head is not included, but the domes are. They will work in any cool head that uses prodesigne domes. They are big bore, 4 mill blaster piston domes. josh
  5. I am selling my 4 mill big bore drag ported top end. The cylinders have been resleeved with big bore sleeves. First (current) bore is 66mm (400cc's) and last bore is 68mm (421cc's). The cylinders will come with pistons, and domes. The pistons are 66mm blaster pistons that will need to be run with a Long Rod 4mill stroker crank. The compresison is 180/180 psi and I ran it on straight race fuel. I am asking 500 shipped for the complete running top end. Here is patriots web page. http://www.patriotracing.net/Banshee.htm josh

  7. PM theshee He did my cpi silencers for 60. They turned out nice. I think he might have gotten rid of his banshee but I am sure he would still do it for you. He just might not be on here much anymore. josh Before After
  8. Should have done the 4 mill crank.
  9. You can run a Max Load on the stator side. It is just like the stock bearing only it has more ball bearings in it. josh
  10. I like the 2:1 posts where people want to run a huge carb thinking it will make up for the lack of a second carb.
  11. Yes your going to need there head pipes for a correct fit. You better get the 916 now. They were discontinued but some members on here had been emailing dmc and got them to re release and put them back in to production. Who knows how long they are going to last though. josh http://www.dmc-on-line.com/Order/index.php...products_id=323
  12. Reputable builder's work speeks for it's self. Just cause they claim to do banshee's doesnt mean they build good ones.
  13. I just run a Stilh leaf blower on my banshee.
  14. I use silkoline Comp Gear. It is synthetic ester base. It stays the cleanest the longest. Josh
  15. Yep it breaks down and gets dirty a lot faster.
  16. There is a bunch of them on ebay right now. The ones with the black case and the orange protector around the gauge are the newer ones. josh http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksi...-All-Categories
  17. I bought a nice used snap on one off of ebay for 100 bucks shipped. Came with 3 hoses. Most common automotive spark plug threads. M14 long M14 short M18 short You use the M14 Long for the banshee. I did buy the 10 or 12mm long so I could use the compression gauge on my raptor as well. It was 50 from the snap on man. josh
  18. I got a gas cap that was 90 bucks. It is a anodized billit aluminum with a Clear sight window in the middle. It is 70 bucks now. http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/search/searc...amp;brandId=605
  19. I have RIS Design's on my CPI's. They are the coller type. I have not had a leak yet. There is 3 viton o rings that seal the stinger tube, and one fat viton o ring that seals on the expansion chamber. The end that seals on the expansion chamber threads down so you can really pinch the big viton o ring down. I put the big vition o ring right on where the joint is to really help seal it down. RIS's are pretty expensive compaired to the ebay ones but they are nice and dont leak. You have to order them Specific for your pipes. They dont have a one size fits all. josh
  20. I have their a arms on my raptor. They are built well. They use ball joints instead of squeeky and poping heim joints. Plus they come with every thing you need. Brake lines, clamps.
  21. A new stock tube is probably cheaper than 2 tanks of fuel. If that breaks the budget then your money ahead to sell your banshee now.
  22. Did you lap the new crank and flywheel? That could have caused your problem if you didnt do that. josh
