  1. Cool head, Noss, Chariot, Vitos Hemi with 20cc domes. I suggest getting a 1 piece head where you dont have to change out your studs. Makes it easier.
  2. If you go with silver frame and black plastic it'll just look like a stock frame with some black plastics on her. I would keep your red frame and maybe some silver plastics if you're hellbent on changing how it looks. If not, peel the stickers off your stockers, cut the front fenders and use the money you were planing on painting the frame on performance goodies. JMHO. As far as purple goes, I'm a big fan. Gonna redo the bike in my sig hopefully next spring, gonna do the exact same color scheme, just freshen it up.
  3. Looks real good bud. White on that blue would look outstanding.
  4. Dang, thats a smokin deal there. Wish I had the loot. My kids shee needs some 35's.
  5. Are the slides in the right way? Is the tube connected between the two carbs? Did you unplug the TORS? Parking brake unplugged?
  6. Is your frame bent? You can always throw some washers in there. As far as your pipe connection issues you need the rubber hose clamps to hold the two together.
  7. Nice looking machine. Are those things fast? Never seen one where I ride.
  8. I would call Jeff at FAST or Kevin Herr of Herr juggs for your porting needs/questions. Both are site sponsers. I would imagine a good dune port would be what you're looking for. As far as cost savings, think about it this way, instead of buying completly new cylinders and pistons you're just getting yours done along with probably some new pistons. Do you have a cool head yet? If not get it all done at once, if you have the funds. Dave Noss is a sponser here as well and he makes outstanding heads. Bud, if you get the porting, carbs, cool head and advanced timing plate you'll think you have a whole new bike. Oh, and thanks for your service to our Country. Outstanding.
  9. You wanted the best and you got it. The hotest band in the land KIIIIISSSS! Kiss alive is proably the best CD/album/tape known to mankind.
  10. PWK 33's would be a great upgrade. Would let your porting shine.
  11. I'm pretty sure the stingers are interchangable. I would get your stock cylinders dune ported by someone on here and with the money you're gonna save from not buying the 404 get some 33's and you'll be MORE then happy.
  12. This was an interesting thread. Has me re-thinking the jetting on our spare Blaster. Since you setteled on a 330 main with an fmf pipe I'm thinking I should up my jetting as well. I wonder if FMF's on Blasters need smaller mains then Toomey's like a Banshee. Hmmm.
  13. Thats actually a pretty nice bike. Lotsa good stuff on there. A word of advise though, I wouldn't go through too much water/mud with your Banshee, they typically dont like it. Kinda like taking a Vette off-roading. If thats typical riding conditions for you you may want a different bike. Anyway, ditch the boost bottle and fix that ripped carb boot asap. Nice bike, good luck with it.
  14. Nice vid. Those dudes were moving on those bikes. The little dudes were cool. I remember years ago watching the "widow maker" hill climb or something like that on the wide world of sports. Guys with enormous 4 stroke dirt bikes with like 3 foot swingarms. They would fall off every ride, lol. You guys remember that?
  15. I brought home my 99 (that is now my youngest sons') on the fourth of July of 99. Found the site either the end of 99 or early 2000. Been here ever since. Im on almost every day, just dont post alot.
  16. Another outstanding transaction with John. Stopped by his place, picked up a few parts I needed. When I arrived he was pulling a fresh looking swingarm that I requested because it looked better then the ones that were already pulled. In and out in a few minutes. John's a great dude to deal with, never a problem. Thanks for the outstanding deals Johhny.
  17. hahahaha 150 bux for stock pipes.. For a hundred bux more I have SST's and chrome pipe clamps. Good luck with that sport.
  18. Thats pretty typical for John. Good dude.
