  1. I've been a member here since about 99 or early 2000, or so. Great site with alot of outstanding info and great peeps as well. Rebuilt my sons 99 shee and the wifes' 98 Poolaris Trail Blazer with the help from alot of you on here. Thanks for all the hard work Loco.
  2. Nice. I went to actually buy a 2SS Camaro in April. Drove a 6 speed, car was nice. Wife talked me into taking a Vette for a ride. Took a base coupe 6 speed out, liked it but not too thrilled with the narrow body. Saw a Grand Sport, took an auto for a ride. Loved the look, wanted a manual. The next week to a GS 6 speed for a ride, that was all it took, orderd it on the spot and took delivery last month. VERY HAPPY! Good luck with your noew ride.
  3. Thanks fellas. Just got the 2 side and rear windows tinted 25%. Really set off the car. Pics dont do it justice. This thing is friggin BAD ASS! LS3 machine, Z06 is one beast of a car. 500+ HP. Nice.
  4. 2011 Chevy Corvette Grand Sport, 6 speed, glass roof, chrome rims, dual mode exhaust. 436 HP.
  5. Cleaned how? Did you re-connect the tube between the 2 carbs? Need more info.
  6. I did everything as described here and in Clymers. I loosened the lock bolt, turned the djustment screw and absolutely nothing moved. I don't want to put this thing back together and find out its still loose. When I had it together after the install of the new shift shaft there was some play in the shaft itself, up and down with the shifter on. Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.
  7. Put a moded shift shaft on as well as a top end along with a butt load of other parts. Doing the break in/heat cycle thing and noticed the shifter and shaft are vibriting like crazy. Looked it up in my Clymers and have a general idea. If anyone has done this adjustment and can gimme a few pointers to save some time I would appreciate it. Bob
  8. Bought a few things from Jeff a little while back. Was putting on the adjustable timing plate and couldn't figure out how to route the wires in the back. Called Jeff today, he snapped a pic with his phone, sent it to me and I was done in about 5 minutes. This is after messing with this thing forever. Great guy, awesome customer service. Thanks again Jeff.
  9. I've got everything from John, from some washers and c-clips to pipes to 2 complete Banshees. John's a great dude.
  10. Looks like FMF pipes and Toomey silencers.
  11. I've seen that Jeep before. You on any Jeep Forums?
  12. Whats up with the Camaro in the back? What ya doin with it?
  13. Have you tried talking to Jim at Passion? I'm sure he could put you in the ball park. Anyway, your pilots seem way small. On our stock 99 with just T-5's, V-Force II's, dual K & N's and a cool head with 20's we run 340 mains, 27.5 pilots at sea level and that bike pulls like a freight train for a little stocker.
  14. If your motor is still stock and not yet ported, those enormous 38's aint gonna work. The stockers are actually very good carbs and work well with mild porting. Your next mod should be some type of porting to match the riding you plan on doing.
  15. Thanks fellas. Keep em coming. Sprockets all look good, chain is fairly new. Bike already has VF II's, I was just wondering if the III's were worth the extra money. I guess I'm gonna ditch the lightned fly wheel and magnetic drain plug and keep the hoses. The bike is actually in great shape, I bought it new and it has always been stored inside. Clutch is a FAST setup a season or so old. Still on the fence about the TORS eliminator kit. What's a pancake bearing and what's it for? Anyway thanks again, keep the suggestions coming.
  16. I've been out of the Banshee game for a bit. I need to rebuild my youngest sons' top end and started compiling a list of the parts I need/want. Let me know what I need/don't need please. The bike is stock with stock carbs, T-5's and a cool head with 20's. So far I have on my list: Magnetic drain plug weiscos bore cool head o-ring kit base gaskets advanced timing plate lightned flywheel (Needed? I figured since I was taking care of the timing plate this would be good. Is it worth it?) silencer packing radiator hoses (It's a 99 with 99 hoses) V-force II reed pedals (I would spring the extra hundred bucks ONLY IF the VF III's are that much better than the II's, opinions please) modified shift star exhaust 0-rings case saver brakes tires (Front and rear) Thanks
  17. I have to admit, Fedor always was facinating to me. He looked like such a lump of shit and then kicked the snot outta everybody. Oh well, seems like an outsatnding dude, hope he made the money he needs.
  18. Agreed Loco. UFC has super sized HW's, now and historically. Fedor at maybe LHW a few years back with Chuck Liddell or Randy Coture would have been epic. A motivated Rampage Jackson would have been worth the 60 buck PPV. What about a Tito Ortiz of a few years back and Fedor? He could have made a ton of money. Maybe a match with Vandelei Silva even though he didnt fight in the UFC.
  19. Hey thanks for all the kind words. AWR your boy is on the right track, gotta stop dippin on the bus though. MJ, wrestling was/is a major part of our lives. Good life lessons. I however have another 3 weeks left. He wants to enter the senior national wrestling tournament in VA beach the end of the month, so I was almost done, just have a few weeks left. A few very expensive weeks. VA beach for about a week of motel a room, eats, drinks and of course some booze. Gonna actually be fun, my oldest son is 22 so its us 3, should be some fun. WISH US LUCK!
  20. Well after my 2 sons put their time in we are done with HS wrestling. 8 straight years of HS varsity wrestling has kicked my ass, lol. My youngest, a senior made it to states for the second straight year, but lost his first match so hes done for the year. Finished the season at 32-9 with 95 career wins. Here in NJ 100 is a big deal so he almost made it. I'm very proud of him. He struggled as a young wrestler but worked himself into an outstanding competitor. His work ethic is epic, he'll do well in the real world once HS and College are done. The bad is he beat alot of the kids that are gonna place, he just got a tough draw for his first match. Anyway with the huge number of kids that wrestle here he made it to the final 24 that qualified for the state tournament. Time to work on the quads and get em ready. I honestly can say Im not gonna miss a second of the sport for at least a few years. Hopefully their kids are gonna be into golf.
